Chapter 444 The Effect
Miyazaki Ryui’s first observation when he found Matsui Natsuki was dirt. After all, he was a person who had been living in an international metropolis for a long period of time in the past ten years or so.
This vision was naturally raised high. Plus, his social status had long since gone up, so he had more and more taste and capital to pursue fashion.
Matsui Natsuki could be said to have stayed in Aomori Prefecture for thirty years. The limitations of her vision was an inevitable one. Even when she went out for a trip, it was just a walk around the periphery.
What she felt was quite well dressed was not at all so in the eyes of Miyazaki Ryui. In his opinion, fashion is expensive, but expensive has expensive reason, lies in the material, style, design, the effect on the body can give people a different kind of good view.
Miyazaki Ryui hung up the phone, or reached out to help her take a suitcase, “Let’s go!”
Matsui Natsuki responded with a smile on her face and walked forward with him. She inevitably felt some excitement in her heart for her friend whom she hadn’t seen in ten years or so.
“You are getting more sophisticated and fashionable. You should be wearing designer labels all over this!” Matsui Natsuki blurted out.
“It’s alright! I’ll take you to the place I’m renting first, then we’ll go for dinner. No, then we go to the mall to buy clothes. Finally, dinner out.” Miyazaki Ryui said bluntly.
“You still need to buy clothes? Eating inside the house is the same. I’ll do it!” Matsui Natsuki felt that it was enough to trouble him saying.
“It’s not me buying clothes, it’s for you. The restaurant was booked long ago by me.” Naturally, Miyazaki Ryui was not able to take a woman dressed in ordinary clothes like her to a high-class restaurant to eat, for one thing, it was a matter of his own face, and for another, he did not want her to be belittled.
“I don’t need to buy clothes. If you don’t think it’s good for me to dress like this, then I have others inside my suitcase. I’ll just change into a new one.”
Matsui Natsuki completely carried herself with a country bumpkin vibe. She simply didn’t have a sense of the necessity of packing inside her head.
In an international metropolis like Tokyo, there were plenty of snobs who honored clothes before people. Otherwise, the stores that specialized in renting out designer clothes, bags, shoes, and so on wouldn’t be able to survive at all.
“This is Tokyo, not Aomori.” Miyazaki Ryui blurted out.
It was only then that Matsui Natsuki kept her mouth shut and said no more. She silently followed him all the way to where the car was parked to take a look at the black imported S-Class Mercedes.
Miyazaki Ryui opened the trunk of the car and put her two suitcases in one by one. He then opened a door on the left side of the backseat of the car, and let her put the large two-shoulder backpack on top of her shoulders into it. After that, the two of them sat on the driver’s and co-driver’s seats on the left and right respectively.
“I didn’t think that you’re doing so well now that you even bought up an imported luxury car.” Matsui Natsuki rotated the head on the top of his neck to look around inside the car and said.
“Do you need my help to find a job in Tokyo?” The reason why Miyazaki Ryui would be willing to take the initiative to help her was because he wanted to make up for what he had done to her in the first place.
“No need to bother you. I’ll go out and look for it myself. It’s just that I might need to bother you for a while. Don’t worry, I won’t say to your girlfriend that I’m your first girlfriend. I’ll only say to her that I’m a friend from your old neighborhood.” Matsui Natsuki said with a sideways glance.
“You’re really thinking too much. Even if you say it’s my first girlfriend, it doesn’t matter. We already had that kind of relationship existing in the first place.
There’s nothing to hide about it. Nowadays, I rent alone inside a two-room, one-bathroom house of 80 square meters. There is an empty bedroom, so you can use it first.
Whether you’re looking for a job or renting an apartment, you can take your time, there’s no rush. My advice to you is to familiarize yourself with Tokyo first.” Miyazaki Ryui held the steering wheel with both hands and drove while calmly saying.
“It’s really remarkable that you’re living in such a big house all by yourself. Before I came to Tokyo, I asked those people around me who had traveled to Tokyo for work.
They all told me that the rent in Tokyo is not normally expensive. Not only that, the places to live were small. They just couldn’t stand it, couldn’t hold on to that kind of fast-paced and high-pressure lifestyle, and that’s why they fled Tokyo again and returned to live in Aomori.” Matsui Natsuki said seriously.
“Since you know all these things, then why did you still come to Tokyo?” Miyazaki Ryui asked casually.
“Didn’t I already give you a heads up! My line of work is getting tougher and tougher in Aomori. Instead of getting fired, I’d rather come out and make a name for myself while I’m still young.
Nowadays, there really aren’t many good money-making lines left in Aomori for girls to work in, other than being an escort.” Matsui Natsuki said honestly.
“So what kind of work are you doing?” Miyazaki Ryui asked curiously.
“Kindergarten teacher. You do know that I’ve always loved playing with children.” Matsui Natsuki smiled.
Of course Miyazaki Ryui understood that the problem of Japan’s childlessness had caused kindergartens to dwindle at the local level as well. Every year, kindergartens were forced to close or merge.
This would inevitably result in fewer kindergarten teachers. There are not as many children, so naturally there is no need for as many teachers.
In addition, many young people are moving to Tokyo, Osaka, and other central cities, leaving many economically disadvantaged areas in Japan with a shortage of teachers.
Even young families who get married and have children move their families because of the man’s job. In fact, it is not important to live there, but to have a job there and be able to earn money.
“You may not know that. Some people in the old family still don’t believe what your mom says, and even think she’s engaging in a bragging session.
Now that I’ve seen you like this with my own eyes, I’m definitely going to spread the word back so that I can shut those people’s mouths up. In fact, you should drive back to your hometown like this to take a walk and look around.” Matsui Natsuki had a word for it.
Miyazaki Ryui had no intention of trying to stop her from doing so. He could understand people who had left their homes to come out to make a living, even if they were not doing as well as they would have liked outside, they still had to hold up the facade strongly.
This was not only for the sake of one’s own vanity and self-esteem, but also about how one’s family was viewed by others in the surrounding area.
“Driving that far will make you tired. Wouldn’t it be good to just take an airplane or the Shinkansen?” Miyazaki Ryui’s first reaction was to think of how fast and convenient the road was.
“It wouldn’t be effective if it was done as you said.” Matsui Natsuki reminded him that the implication in his words was the same as the Chinese saying that the rich and powerful do not return to their hometowns, as if they traveled by night in brocade clothes, which meant the same thing, he said.
