Chapter 5
Luke contacted his coworkers first thing.
The guys, although uninviting, were still reliable.
He checked Daisy’s physical condition, her breathing was normal and her life was not in danger for the time being.
Started surveying the scene.
The weapon used by the suspect was a Taser, the travel bag contained Daisy’s satchel and shoes, and the tunic was unbuttoned.
Luke’s first thought was ‘Taser robbery’.

Susan patted Luke on the shoulder, “Good job on the hard work!”
“Like I said, I can contribute to this team just as well even if I don’t work overtime.”
“VERY GOOD, I’m looking forward to what you do back there.”
Lieutenant Vince came over, “The CBS network is here, they want to interview Luke.”
Susan looked over at Luke, “What do you think?”
It was good to be in the limelight, but a police officer still had to keep a low profile appropriately, even if he didn’t think about his own safety, he still had to think about his family’s safety.
“Captain, I’m a little tired, I just want to take a shower and get a good night’s sleep now.”
Luke waved goodbye to his colleagues, “See you tomorrow.”
Lieutenant Vince was speechless, “Just let him go like that?”

Luke sat up from the bed, the sleepiness from earlier swept away.
The function of the encounter card was basically mapped out, passively triggering the encounter.
Detection card, from the literal meaning of the word may be some kind of perception function card.
However, the specific detection range and functional attributes are still unclear, so I guess I’ll have to use it to find out.
10 draws, 8 times getting a thousand dollars, from the draw results a thousand dollars is equivalent to ‘thank you for patronizing’.
This system is really powerful.
With this amount of money Luke’s financial situation could be improved.
