Chapter 31: A misunderstanding

The master had already slowly stood up, so I began to do the same. I tried not to look at the snake, but for some reason, like the master, I felt faint when I looked at it. But Xiaoding looked serious and said in a low voice, “Xiao Teng, Grandpa Mian loves you, but I can’t! We, the Snake Clan, have protected you for generations, and we think it is important to cultivate your character, so that you don’t do evil deeds and try to do as much good as possible.
