“Echoes of False Accusation and Injustice”
Echoes of False Accusation and Injustice: A Reflection on Slander
The vast, distant sky above, like the father and mother of humankind,
Unforgiving calamities come despite being unjustly maligned.
The heavens, in their grand display of power, seem harsh and cold,
Yet I am innocent of wrongs that the skies so severely scold.
The sky, once more, appears neglectful, blind to my plight,
As disaster strikes again with an unrelenting might.
In the face of initial turmoil, I was met with slander’s spread,
And when strife emerged anew, the righteous followed the falsehoods instead.
The wise, when hearing slander, could swiftly quell the strife,
Yet the wise, instead, follow deceit, prolonging my turmoil in life.
Had they appointed the virtuous, the turmoil would have ceased early on,
Yet their repeated alliances have only led to further discord drawn.
The schemers’ sweet-talking, their deceitful ways, thrive,
As they nourish the chaos, their lies keep the turmoil alive.
The blame does not solely lie with those who spread the lies,
But with those who heed them, perpetuating the disguise.
The grandeur of palaces and temples I have established with care,
Laws and rites meticulously framed by sages fair.
While others plot deceit, I discern their cunning design,
But their efforts are hidden, masked by their false shine.
These deceitful individuals, living by the riverside’s mire,
Lack the strength and valor, yet conspire with dark desire.
Their wounds and ailments speak of their lack of true might,
Yet their cunning schemes continue, affecting the righteous plight.
The falsehoods they spread, like treacherous traps set to snare,
Hinder the wise, who fall prey to their deceitful glare.
Such traitors thrive on lies, fabricating schemes so vile,
Their subtlety and flattery, a constant, deceitful trial.
The schemers, with their sweet and deceitful speech,
Manipulate the innocent, their misdeeds within reach.
They have no true power, only the power of deceit,
Devising plans that lead to chaos, making their fate replete.
In this harsh reality, their true colors are unveiled,
Their motives are exposed, and their deceit prevails.
In the end, the deceitful schemers, though they strive and plot,
Will find themselves ensnared, their efforts for naught.
Though their malevolence may cause temporary pain,
The truth will out, and their deception will wane.
For those who plot in shadows, against virtue and truth,
Will ultimately face the consequences of their own uncouth.
This poem, though born of personal strife and grievance,
Rises to a higher critique of slander’s malevolent influence.
It speaks to the universal truth of deceit and its destructive art,
Revealing how false accusations tear societies apart.
Through the echoes of injustice and the deep, emotional cry,
The poem remains relevant, shedding light on deceit’s sly.
It serves as a timeless reminder of the perils of false claims,
And the enduring quest for truth amidst the chaos and blames.
