The servant on the ground yelled, “Let me go, or I’ll kill you!”

“Future what?”

Hearing the word “poison,” the glamorous woman started to sneak away. Lin Dongxue stopped her, “Where are you going?”

“Changing clothes.”

“Nobody moves until the police arrive!”

Minutes later, the police arrived. Lin Qiupu was surprised to see the situation under control. The police took the fake Wang Haitao, the glamorous woman, and the man with the slicked-back hair for questioning.

Back at the station, Peng Siyue tested the fake Wang Haitao’s blood and confirmed he was X. Moreover, his blood and Mr. Lu’s contained trace amounts of arsenic, targeting the kidneys. As Chen Shi suspected, Mr. Lu’s kidney cancer was no coincidence.
