A+ A- Turn Off Light

”It’s past two in the morning, it’s not too late.”

Chen Ge took out his own cell phone to look through the various information recorded on it, he was thinking about how he was going to accomplish the mission of the underground corpse warehouse.

The passengers had to rush to the suburban waste school late at night, and the driver master in the front row was under a lot of pressure, wiping his sweat frequently and quietly watching Chen Ge’s every move through the rearview mirror.

Always being stared at like this, Chen Ge was also a little uncomfortable, and he doubted that if he continued like this, he would soon be on the Jiujiang Taxi Company’s blacklist.

”It seems like I should also consider buying a car, but I don’t have a driver’s license, forget it, I’d better wait until I get a Lich who can drive.”

Chen Ge’s mind flashed to that moving company’s van driver in the eastern suburb and thought that he would be quite suitable.

”When I finish the underground corpse vault mission, I’ll go to the eastern suburbs to take a look, and if that van driver agrees to join the haunted house, I’ll even save the money for a car.”

A smile involuntarily appeared on his face, Chen Ge felt that he had discovered another employee with great potential.

At 2:40 a.m., Chen Ge arrived at the outskirts of Twilight Sun High School, he dug into the overgrown bushes and didn’t go out far before he saw the school hidden in the darkness of the night.

”This place is only a two-star horror scene, but how does it give me a feeling that it’s even more eerie than the third sick building?”

Chen Ge pulled open the backpack zipper, he had come to ask the old principal for help, originally he didn’t want to make it too scary, but he was always a little unsure in his mind without the skull crushing hammer.

Grabbing the hammer handle, Chen Ge pressed the repeater switch and entered the middle of the ruined school.

”The old principal appeared in the last classroom before.”

The murderer of the corpse in the well case had been caught, and after the police withdrew, no one had come here for a long time.

The playground was overgrown with weeds, and Twilight Sun Middle School had changed back to what it was at the very beginning.

Walking along the burned corridor, Chen Ge entered the middle of the school building, he pushed open the door of the last classroom and looked inside.

Rows and rows of desks were neatly placed, and Chen Ge sat in the middle of the classroom like he did when he first came here.

Strange characters were written on the blackboard, all sorts of strange requests were carved on the desktop, the windows slowly shook, and the night breeze blew into the room through the broken glass opening.

It was the same scene, but the questions going through Chen Ge’s mind were very different from his last visit.

”Where can the old principal hide?”

Chen Ge had no ill will towards the old principal, he just wanted to reunite him with those students.

After thinking for a moment, Chen Ge took out the ballpoint pen from his backpack.

He sat in the center of the classroom and played the Pen Fairy game.

”Pen Fairy, Pen Fairy, you’re my past life, I’m your present life, can you tell me where the first principal of Muyang Middle School has gone now?”

The ballpoint pen wrapped in transparent tape stood on the table and hesitantly wrote out three words, “Office.”

Seeing these three words, Chen Ge gently nodded his head, he felt that the pen had already developed a sense of belonging to the House of Horrors, even a sense of honor, which made him very pleased.

Getting up and leaving the last classroom, Chen Ge drilled into the middle of the office building, he checked room by room and finally found the principal’s office deep in the corridor.

In order to leave a good impression on the old principal, Chen Ge first knocked on the door five times, making sure that no one responded before using a skull-crushing hammer to smash the lock off the door.

Breaking the door, Chen Ge found the room empty.

”Twilight Sun Middle School was built up little by little by the old principal, he shouldn’t have left this place.”

Perhaps the time hadn’t come, or the old principal had other concerns, so he didn’t show up.

”The principal was a good old man during his life, and returning to Mureyang Middle School after his death might simply be because he couldn’t rest assured of those twenty-odd students, and now that those students are under my care, would he have let go of his obsession and completely dissipated?”

Chen Ge thought about it for a moment, it wasn’t impossible that this was possible.

Closing the door to the room, Chen Ge walked inside.

The principal’s office was very simple, with nothing more than a desk, chair, and a bookcase.

”There must be a reason why the Pen Fairy asked me to come to the office, could it be that the old principal knew that I wouldn’t let him go? Guessed in advance that I was coming?”

Chen Ge was a little unsure as the fat old man came to mind.

He walked over to the table and casually pulled open a few drawers to look at them, counting from top to bottom, the first drawer held a handful of certificates from city-level competitions.

The teachers of Mureyang Middle School were weak, and the students’ academic performance was not good, usually participating in the various competitions organized by the city were also the existence of the bottom of the list, and had obtained very few certificates, but each one was carefully preserved by the old principal.

”The old principal really wants to run this school well, but unfortunately, it’s still not enough for him alone.”

Chen Ge opened the second drawer again, inside was a drawer full of thank you letters, mostly written by students, thanking outside caring people for their donations.

”It’s surprising that he still keeps these things all the time.”

After rummaging through it for half a day, Chen Ge didn’t find anything useful, and he pulled open the last drawer.

Inside were an old flower mirror and a few thick ledgers.

  ”Love donation statistics?”

Chen Ge flipped through the ledgers and froze for a moment when he saw that person’s name on the first line.

”Dr. Gao from the Jiujiang Mental Disease Research Center?”

In order to make sure that this Dr. Gao was the person he knew, Chen Ge even specifically searched the internet.

”That’s right, this person is Ruxue Gao’s father.”

Flipping through the ledger, Dr. Gao ranked first among all the donors, which caused Chen Ge’s opinion of Dr. Gao to change again.

Behind the ledger there were also donations from a few enterprises, they would make a big fuss every time they love to fund the school, there were media broadcasts, and they hated to make the whole world know about it, but the actual donations were not as much as what Dr. Gao Ge had put out on his own.

Silently donating to the school and keeping quiet, Dr. Gao seems to be doing this just for the sake of doing good deeds.

”Would such a person be the president of the Weird Talk Association?”

Chen Ge stood at the edge of the table, if Dr. Gao was really the president of the Weird Talk Association, then he would be the most complicated person Chen Ge had ever met.

”Donating to schools and saving patients on the one hand, but wantonly killing and extraditing the ghosts and monsters behind the door on the other, what exactly does he want?”

No one could guess what Dr. Gao was thinking, this most outstanding psychiatrist in all of Jiujiang seemed to have buried his heart.

At the end of the ledger were handwritten letters from Dr. Gao to the children, all of which were kept by the old principal.

Chen Ge flipped a little bit to the end, and at the end of the ledger, he saw a photo that was sandwiched in the middle of the ledger.

The figure was a bit unclear, but he could still recognize that the person in the photo was Dr. Gao.

He was standing with another young man, surrounded by a group of children, and not far from the two was a somewhat shy woman.

The woman’s face was very blurry, but judging from her body type, she resembled the strange woman Chen Ge had met at the Jiujiang Forensic Medicine School.
