On the screen, the heroine’s parents didn’t listen to the “doctor” seriously, their eyes showed undisguised disappointment.

”Believe me, your daughter really isn’t sick, her eye was just an accident, if possible, I’d like to take her to Xinhai City, I’ll give her a more comprehensive examination.” The man didn’t look like a liar, he spoke with a sincere attitude, unfortunately the heroine’s parents didn’t agree with the things he said.

”I’ll send her there when I have the chance, right now Wen Yu still has to go to school.” The heroine’s mother politely declined.

The doctor sighed softly, handed the heroine’s mother a business card, and got up to leave.

The entire time, the doctor kept his back to the heroine, unable to see his front face.

After the door to the room closed and the doctor left, the heroine’s mother complained softly, “I said how he was willing to treat Wen Yu for free, it turns out that he’s just a liar, I guess when we wait until we get to Xinhai, he’ll probably charge for all sorts of reasons.”

”I also think that this doctor is unreliable, maybe he’s some kind of fake, but there has to be a reason for being sick, Wen Yu has never been in such a situation before, how come she’s sick just because she says she’s sick.”

”Yes, this child was fine a few months ago, just from that night, no, that afternoon after school, she was out of sorts.”

The parents looked worried, a hint of heartache in their voices.

The camera recorded all of this indifferently, giving the impression as if the heroine was indifferently looking at the scene in front of her at that moment.

The open eyes slowly closed, and that eerie music played again.

Unlike watching a horror movie at home, when you watch it in a movie theater, the background music comes from all directions, and it even creates a feeling of footsteps coming from far away or something circling around you left and right.

This suspenseful horror short was filmed with great care and it shows in the sound effects.

The soundtrack is peppered with heartbeats and gasps, like someone falling asleep and having a nightmare.

Deep in the darkness, desperately struggling, but unable to touch anything.

As the audience involuntarily substitutes and holds their breath, a crisp bell rings in the background.

Eyelids blinking, the heroine seems to be awakened by the ringtone as she opens her eyes blankly.

The screen reappeared, but the camera was no longer shooting the bedroom, but a somewhat humble cram school.

Blinding sunlight shone through the window on the heroine, and the camera captured the shadow of the heroine on the floor.

She was sprawled on a table in the last row of the cram school classroom, drowsy.

”The movie is a third of the way through before I see the main character’s shadow, this director is really a ghost writer.”

Chen Ge had seen many shadows, and from his professional perspective, that shadow in the movie was so ordinary that it couldn’t be any more ordinary.

The sunlight made his head dizzy, and the sound of the electric fan turning, the sound of flipping through books, and the song coming out of a certain student’s inferior headphones were heard in his ears.

A long shot showed everything in the classroom, with the director, camera and actors working together seamlessly.

  ”Boom!”

While the audience was immersed in this atmosphere created by the director, the calm was suddenly broken.

The door to the room was pushed open with force, and a girl with an exaggerated hairstyle walked in.

”He Qumei! Behave yourself and don’t affect the other students!” A man with glasses and a flat head followed closely behind the girl, holding a cell phone in one hand and a textbook in the other.

This man should be the teacher of the cram school, and he seemed to be familiar with the new students who came in.

”Got it.” The red-haired girl was still chewing gum in her mouth, and her spitting wasn’t too clear.

The male teacher had long known the girl’s character and scratched his head in annoyance, then wiped the sweat from his face and gently clapped his hands, “To interrupt, this new student who came to our cram school is called He Qiumei, because of a special situation in her family, she took a year off from school, and joined our cram school to catch up with the progress, so I hope that everyone can help her more. ”

The teacher briefly introduced the girl for a few moments and then sat her in the last row of the cram class.

Coincidentally, she happened to sit with the heroine and became her deskmate.

The camera fell close on He Qumei, the girl had dyed light red hair, she leaned against the wall of the last row and casually dumped her school bag on her desk.

”What are you looking at?” The girl noticed that the protagonist was looking at her and bristled.

She had a personality like a flame, and it wasn’t that she had a bad personality, it was just that she would burn people without realizing it.

At the girl’s fierce comment, the camera immediately turned, and a moment later, the camera representing the main female character’s sight landed back on the girl.

Apparently, the protagonist was somewhat curious about her new deskmate.

The bell rang for the end of class, the teacher had just walked out of the cram school classroom, and the female protagonist was about to get up when Akimi next to her suddenly stood up.

She viciously slammed her books on the table, then spat out the gum in her mouth and looked at the heroine.

With fierce eyes and a violent temper, just when all the viewers thought that she was a delinquent girl who was ready to bully the heroine.

This girl called Qiumei, however, opened her mouth and said, “Did you understand what Old Cao said just now? Why am I completely puzzled?”

The heroine gently shook her head, and the audience heard the heroine’s voice for the first time.

  ”I …… fell asleep just now …….”

”How come you’re a bad student even though you’re quiet looking? That’s not good!” Akimi scanned towards the side, letting her somewhat disappointed that there didn’t seem to be a single reliable student in this humble cram school, “The exams are coming up soon, if I don’t pass this year, I’ll have to repeat the year again, when the hell am I going to graduate?”

”Do you …… want to graduate so much?”

”No one wants to grow up, except I can’t be a kid anymore, I can’t tell you that, I have to graduate this year anyway.” Akimi stuffed all her books into her book bag, then picked up her notes and read them.

This attitude of serious study was completely different from her dress and personality, but the actor performed it without the slightest sense of incongruity.

As her classmates walked out of the classroom one after another, Akimi became more and more annoyed with what she was reading, and finally slammed her notes down on the desk again, as if by slamming them down a few more times, the knowledge would be shattered and easier to absorb.

”Forget it, I’ll start studying properly again tomorrow.” Akimi packed up and walked out of the classroom alone.

The camera kept filming Akemi’s back before following her towards the outside.

”Teacher Cao, for the sake of being an old neighbor for so many years, can you help me?” An old man’s voice came from the corner of the building, and as the camera moved down, an old woman with gray hair could be seen grasping Teacher Cao’s arm, trying to shove a basket covered with a black cloth at him, “My health is getting worse and worse, and I don’t know when Qiumi’s father will be released, so what’s going to happen to her in this case if I leave? If we keep on mixing like this, I’m afraid she’ll be like her father in the future.”

”Auntie He, keep the things, I’ll try to teach Qiumi as much as I can, but this learning thing isn’t something I can do with effort alone. I don’t dare to promise you, I can only say that I’ll try to help you manage her.” Mr. Cao didn’t take the old lady’s basket.

  ”Thank you, Mr. Cao.”

After the old lady thanked her and left, Teacher Cao frowned and headed upstairs, the heroine wanted to try and act normal, but she had just stood up straight when her back bumped into something.

The camera panned back and Akemi’s face was instantly reflected in her eyes!

This scene was reminiscent of the scene at the beginning of the movie.

”Is it fun to eavesdrop?” Akemi said coldly, “That’s my grandmother, an old codger.”

”She …… feels good to you.”

”Good a fart, communication is a dead effort. I’ll give you, I have a lot of road, I wanted to drop out of school to casually find a job to support her and me, the results of her deadbeat disagreement, must be my graduation, I was also worn by her no way out, only to come back to school.” Qiumei took out a mirror and looked at her face, she was not bad looking, just a bit heavy with hostility.

The moment Akemi took out the mirror, the camera immediately rewound backwards, giving the impression as if the heroine was afraid of looking at herself in the mirror.

”What are you doing?” Akemi noticed the heroine’s strange reaction, “Somehow, I’ll give you this, don’t tell anyone about my grandmother coming to school.”

”Okay ……” The heroine paused for a moment before continuing, “You want to hurry up and graduate just so you can get a job and take care of your grandmother?”

Putting away the mirror, Akemi face close to the camera and gently pushed the heroine away, “It’s out of your hands what I want to do, the only thing you can control is your own mouth.”

Carrying her book bag, Akemi headed downstairs, as the two brushed past, the heroine whispered, “You can’t take care of her, she’s going to die soon.”

”What are you muttering?” Akimi didn’t hear it clearly, and she didn’t care what the heroine actually said.

The camera filmed Akemi’s back as she walked farther and farther away, and that’s when the heroine’s voice came back again, “You can’t take care of her, I can see it all with my left eye.”
