Chapter 0838 – School Nurse
Chen Ge had his own ideas, fighting violence with violence was just the simplest approach, to truly gain the recognition of the school’s will and be accepted by all the desperate children, violence alone would not work.
”It may not always work, let’s give it a try.”
Leaving the classroom, Chen Ge walked along the long corridor carrying two backpacks, students on both sides were rushing towards the classroom, and he was the only one who was dashingly spreading out, not in a hurry.
”Classmate, may I ask if you know where the infirmary is?” The students in this school were very unfriendly, and Chen Ge asked several students in a row before someone was finally willing to show him the way.
”You’re that freshman in class four, right? When I passed by the teaching office just now, I heard the teachers and the head teacher talking about you, and it seems like they’re preparing to punish you.” The one who showed Chen Ge the way was a girl who looked like a middle schooler, with a ponytail and very plain clothes.
”They’re going to punish me?”
”It seems like they’re saying that you ignored school rules and discipline and hit someone in class.” As the girl said this, she also curiously stole a glance at Chen Ge, “Is what they said true?”
”If I say it’s true, will you feel scared?” Chen Ge kept a smile on his face, school teachers had their own way of dealing with problems, he understood it but didn’t recognize it.
”No, I wouldn’t, I do think you’re doing a good job, those guys are with the out-of-school gangsters, making the school a mess, it’s long overdue!” The girl seemed to have been bullied as well, she spoke for half a day and finally quietly approached Chen Ge: “I hope you’ll be safe this time.”
”Classmate, this is our first time meeting, right?” Chen Ge felt that the girl’s behavior was a bit perverse, as if she was deliberately trying to ingratiate herself, “Is there something else you want to tell me?”
A flash of panic flashed in the girl’s eyes, but she quickly returned to normal: “Actually, I don’t have many friends, in our class, all of them laugh at me and tease me for all sorts of things, so I want to become friends with you, so that if they bully me next time, I’ll have someone I can talk to.”
The girl wasn’t very good at lying, and when she said these latter words, her eyes would unconsciously look in other directions, and a deep resentment was still hidden deep within her eyes.
That kind of resentment had nothing to do with Chen Ge, she should be wanting to take revenge on those who had bullied her.
”Sorry, I’m used to being alone.” Chen Ge knew that the girl didn’t really want to be friends with herself, she just wanted to find someone to protect her.
”It’s fine.” There was an undisguised disappointment in the girl’s eyes, but she still brought Chen Ge to the entrance of the infirmary.
”This is it, I’m going back to class.” The girl returned the same way, and after walking out a few steps, she suddenly turned her head and looked at Chen Ge again, “I forgot to say, my name is Sakura Red, let’s talk again when we have the chance.”
The girl barely managed to squeeze out a smile before trotting away.
”Even her fake smile when she’s unhappy is so sweet, this girl is quite suitable to be a haunted house receptionist, it’s a pity.”
Pushing open the door to the infirmary, the curtains shifted and a blood-red fog surrounded the body, and at a glance, the room was hazy and nothing could be seen.
”Anyone?”
The infirmary of this ghost school was very large, consisting of four connected rooms.
The outermost one was the consultation room, covering the smallest area, with two tables and two shelves for storing various items.
”The school infirmary was built to feel like a private hospital, just how many students does this place receive every day?”
Blood-red walls, thin threads of blood crawling through the walls as if they were bugs, a white coat hanging in the corner, but no doctor was visible.
Chen Ge walked over to the table, and spread out on the wooden table lay a bound copy of the patient’s information, which recorded some of the student’s conditions and the doctor’s treatment plan.
After casually flipping a few times, Chen Ge found Yan Fei’s name on the penultimate page.
However, out of Chen Ge’s expectation, the doctor only gave Yan Fei some medication to stop the bleeding and did not give him any psychological enlightenment.
Just by looking at this notebook, the seriousness of the problem could not be seen at all, and those who did not know the truth were afraid that Yan Fei would still think that Yan Fei had just accidentally scratched himself.
”You can’t just look at anything from the surface, all the students in the file are normal, in reality, they may have fallen into some sort of despair.”
This patient file wasn’t thick, and each page was labeled with a picture of the corresponding patient.
”Injured and sent to the infirmary, this is already being bullied to a very serious point, maybe I can find other kids through this file.”
The ghost school, a four star scenario, was very special, it fused several different memories, so the number of ghosts and various remnants in it was extremely large, and it was difficult to find children who possessed the qualifications to become a gate pusher from it, but the appearance of this patient file allowed Chen Ge to find a shortcut.
”Since Yan Fei’s name appears on it, it’s possible that other students who possess the qualifications to become Gate Pushers are also here.”
Walking past the consultation room, Chen Ge entered the second room, which had a few hospital beds set up in it, and other than the space being a bit bigger outside, there was no difference between this place and the other rooms.
”Excuse me, I’m looking for someone.”
Chen Ge stood in the doorway, his pupils gently throbbing, a very uneasy feeling in his heart.
No one responded, there seemed to be no one in the infirmary.
”Strange.”
Reaching into his pocket, Chen Ge fished out a spike from it and hid it in his palm, making sure that he could of heard the rustling sound of the tape from the repeater before he dared to continue forward.
He carefully stepped into the third room, which also had hospital beds, but unlike the beds in the second house, each bed here was separated by a white cloth in the center.
Probably to protect the privacy of the patients, standing outside one could not see who was lying on the beds.
”This place is a bit dangerous.”
Having cleared many trial missions, Chen Ge had now honed an intuition of danger, and with his back pressed against the wall, he slowly moved his feet.
Reaching out, he lifted the curtain closest to him, a pungent stench emanated from it, and in the middle of the clean white sheet was a streak of crusted black stains that looked a bit like blood.
”The stench is strong, this hospital bed should have been used not long ago.”
After observing for a moment, Chen Ge realized that the pillow on the hospital bed was bulging, as if there was something stuffed inside.
He was about to go and pick up the pillow when his neck felt a sharp chill, as if someone was reminding him to look back.
Turning his head, Chen Ge saw a doctor in a white coat standing not far behind him.
The other party was bloated and his body was almost wrapped in a uniform, with a cap, mask, and coat, with only his slender neck exposed.
”With such a fat body and such a thin neck, is this doctor continuously wearing several pieces of clothing?” Chen Ge stared at the doctor’s neckline, where a dark red color could be vaguely seen, “The uniform outside is a pure white coat, but the clothes inside are red and black, what is this doctor’s origin?”
