A+ A- Turn Off Light

Everything around him seemed like a phantom, rich in color, overlapping and adding to each other, flying backwards and forwards.

Klein had just regained his senses to observe and appreciate this wondrous passage when he felt the hand of Mr. Aztec, who had grasped his arm, shaking slightly.

Before he had time to react, he had a strong sense of weightlessness, his body couldn’t stop falling and even spun.

The colors of red, yellow, white, and black around him quickly faded, and Klein fell heavily to solid ground, his head spinning and his insides tumbling.

Laced with bits of gold stars in his vision, everything he saw had returned to normal, to his left was a deep, dark valley with no bottom visible, that looked like the demonic abyss of legend, and to his right was a wall of gray rock spreading all the way upwards that seemed to support the entire area.

Here there is no sun, no clouds, no fog, a little light comes from the luminous moss growing in different places, darkness and depth are the main colors of this “world”.

Klein leapt up with his left hand, and realized that under his feet was a well-paved stone road, capable of being used by two wagons, and by no means a natural formation.

One end of the road swirled down into a dark chasm, the other led to higher ground, where corridors and halls with domed ceilings could be seen within the rock walls.

Kraven looked up, but he couldn’t see the highest point, and his view was completely obscured by the gray stone walls.

Suddenly, he had the realization that he and Mr. Aztec had “fallen” into the earth, and were in the wreckage of an ancient civilization.

Was it another area, or was it still near Birkeland? As soon as Klein’s mind moved, he heard Mr. Aztec say in a deep voice:

”You get out of here and go up.”

Huh? Before Klein could grasp the meaning of this sentence, he saw a flash of light on the side, instantly outlining an illusory folio gate.

The gate seemed to be made of bronze, not real enough to be real, but unusually heavy, with countless strange patterns and symbols of unknown meaning on its surface.

With a creak, the gate cracked open and a pale, bloody arm scrambled out of it, in addition to green and black vines with baby faces and slippery tentacles with protruding eyes.

This is very similar to the effect of Ms. Sharon’s magical item …… During the flash of thought, Klein realized that those arms, vines and tentacles were no longer frantic, and quieted down, clinging to the ground, very different from their previous frantic performance after pulling a Sequence 6 “zombie” into the door hard and fast. It was very different from their previous behavior after frantically pulling a Sequence 6 “walker” through the door.

Immediately after that, the gap in the illusory door opened up considerably, and a figure walked out from inside.

The figure wore pure black clergy robes, and his features were as deep and distinct as a classical sculpture.

His hair was dark blonde, his eyes were deep blue, his nose was high and straight, and he wore a floppy hat favored by old men, his sideburns a little white in a way that didn’t quite match his middle-aged appearance.

Looking into one of the other’s eyes, which had completely lost its luster, Klein’s mind oiled with the name of the visitor:

  Ince Zangwill!

The former Archbishop who single-handedly directed the Tingen Incident and severely injured the Night Watch team, the person in charge of the seal “0-08”!

Almost at the same time, Klein turned his body and followed Mr. Aztec’s words, running wildly towards the top of the road.

He knew very well that he would only be dragging his feet and distracting Mr. Aztec if he stayed in the demigod-level confrontation.

And false modesty, pretentious words in such a time-sensitive occasion were all unnecessary, all harmful to oneself and one’s companions!

Stomping along, because there was nothing to light under the ground, Klein could only grit his teeth and run with all his strength, while the calm, gentle voice of Aztec came to his ears:

  ”Keep escaping from here.

”Don’t worry about me, I recall quite a few things and know that I was in a sequence for a long time, a sequence called ‘The Undead’.”

Stomp, stomp, stomp, Klein rounded the cliff face and entered the shadowy corridor with its vaulted ceiling, the walls on either side of which were painted and carved with numerous mottled murals.

Just then, he heard a majestic, husky voice echo from where he was before:

  ”Teleportation is forbidden here!”

Beside Ince Zangwill, a silhouette arrived at an unknown time, floating in mid-air against the laws of physics, wearing a gorgeous mask made of gold.

Instead of launching an attack, Ince Zangwill glanced at the corner where Klein’s figure had disappeared.

Night Goddess Church Sequence 4 “Night Watch” can give others a certain degree of bad luck, but just now silent “blessing” Klein’s Ince Zangwill found that the other party did not encounter slippery feet fell into a deep valley and other things.

Not only that, Ince Zangwill also seemed to have a hallucination in front of his eyes, and saw a bit of thin illusory gray mist.

Not having time to think about it much, he withdrew his gaze and redirected it to Azek Aegis.

Stomp, stomp, squeak …… The Klein who was running at high speed suddenly braked, his spiritual intuition told him that there was someone in front of him, there was an extraordinary person, and the probability was that it was the guards of this place!

Thinking briefly, he stretched out his left hand and wiped it on his face, and at the same time, a burst of crunching sounds came out from his body, and his entire body was hardened and pulled up by seven or eight centimeters.

By the time his left palm left his face, he had already transformed into a middle-aged man, a one-eyed middle-aged man with dark blonde hair and a high nose, Ince Zangwill!

Recalling the other party’s demeanor and fixing his clothes with illusion magic, Klein walked forward quickly, rounded the corner and entered a hall.

There were four guards in deep black full body armor there, all with sharp gazes.

With a sullen face, Klein walked over and said solemnly in a deliberately husky voice:

”Someone has infiltrated here, and I am looking for him.

  ”Have you found any clues?”

The guard at the head first scrutinized, then he lowered his head and said:

”Mr. Zangwill, there is no movement here.”

”Hmm.” Klein nodded gently, crossed over to them, and left this hall.

Throughout the entire process, although he was highly tense, with sweat pouring out from his back, he acted calmly and introvertedly, and there was no difference between him and Ince Zangwill from his appearance to his aura.

Relying on the ability of “Faceless Man”, combined with his own running, he quickly passed through three barriers and arrived at the end of the building.

There was an illusory door made purely of an ethereal blue light, but other than that, it was completely sealed.

Though apprehensive about Mr. Aztec’s battle with Ince Zangwill and other demigods, Klein hid in the shadows outside the room and patiently peered for a while, noticing that some people had arrived through that ethereal blue glow, and others had used it to leave.

One thing he did notice was that those leaving had to present a heraldic-like item before they could get permission from the four guards to enter the light door.

There was no time to wait for the next person with a “coat of arms,” so he had to take his chances…….The battle over there could be over at any moment…….Even if it isn’t, the order to search for me will be delivered here soon. …… Klein made a quick decision and once again walked into that room in the image of Ince Zangwill.

”Something’s going on out there.” He was unsure of the former Archbishop’s voice, and had to be deliberately hoarse to show that he had been through a fierce battle.

The guards, their thoughts disturbed by the news, didn’t react until Klein approached, reaching out to stop him:

”Mr. Zangwill, where is your pass?”

”Do not delay!” Kline said as he pulled out a coat of arms from his coat pocket and shoved it into the other’s hand.

This frank performance made the rest of the guards relax.

Just as the guard who received the “pass” looked down, Kraven suddenly lunged forward!

As soon as he landed on the ground, he quickly rolled over again, directly into the blue light door!

It was then that the guard realized that the crest in his palm had quickly faded into a post-it note.

The top left of this note pad was also printed with a common blessing these days:

  ”Happy New Year!”

  ……

The abyssal, shadowy chasm filled with illusory, dark liquid, and, as the water continued to rise, there was a pale-skinned arm frantically reaching out.

Ince Zangwill was roughly aware of Azk’s caliber, and was not surprised or intimidated by this, for at this point he had a half-god, half-human helper.

He was most worried about another problem, forcing the story to move forward after the “0-08” may turn against him at any time.

At this time, he swept the corner of his eye, and was shocked to find that “0-08” the quill had left his pocket at some point, floating in front of the gray rock wall, frantically writing a line of words:

”…… In a fierce battle, there are always all sorts of accidents, for example, Ince Zangwill’s belt broke and his pants dropped.”

  ……

An ethereal blue light filled Klein’s eyes, constructing a passageway of overlapping layers of light between the deep darkness and the invisible creatures that roamed the area.

Without bothering to observe his surroundings, Klein rolled and rolled to reach the end of the passage.

He stood up, straightened his clothes, regained the serious expression of Innes Zangwill, and stepped into the curtain of light that swirled like water.

After a moment’s trance, he found himself in another room with the same number of guards.

”There’s a problem underground, watch this place and don’t let anyone in.” Klein commanded stoically, not moving quickly or slowly towards the door.

”Yes, Mr. Zangwill!” The guards replied respectfully.

Just then, the guard from before came through the ethereal blue light and blurted out:

”There’s something wrong with the Zangwill from earlier!”

A line of sight then looked toward the door, and Klein’s figure was gone.

Stomping around, the guards immediately split into several, scattering to find their target and informing the rest of their companions, the scene was quite chaotic for a while.

One of them had just rounded the corner when he saw Ince Zangwill’s back.

Subconsciously, he drew his saber that flashed with electricity and slashed up.

  Poof!

The figure floated away without weight and turned into a split paper figure.

At the same time, with two consecutive thuds, the light golden bullet passed through the unzipped face armor and accurately shot into that guard’s head.

Without even being able to let out a scream, the guard clattered to the ground and convulsed twice.

Klein stepped out of the shadows of the corner and without expression tucked the revolver back inside his armpit gun pouch.

He burned the paper man and quickly dragged the guard to an unoccupied room, changing into pitch-black armor to take the form of his opponent.

Then he grabbed his sword, which was glowing with electricity, and walked out of the room, closing the wooden door behind him and running “in a hurry” toward the front.

He had to inform every guard along the way that something was wrong with Ince Zangwill!
