Wearing a black crown and covered in dense armor, Klein stood at the door, adjusted himself for a few seconds, and took a step forward.

His body, which was like a substance, passed through the gate and entered Karpin’s villa without a sound.

The first thing that appeared in front of him was a spacious foyer with many chairs and coat racks, and behind it was a gorgeous hall with gold color as its main tone.

There was no ceiling, and the three-story dome was directly visible, with a huge crystal chandelier hanging down, and a white candle standing on each “petal”.

Down the hall to the left, through a heavy door, was the elegant dining room, where the smell of roasted meat was the strongest, masking the smells of alcoholic beverages and other food.

Klein didn’t rush into the dining room, but first circled around the outside, occasionally reaching out and pulling on the grayish-white gas pipes, as if experimenting with the power of his own spirit body carrying the “Black Emperor” card, and how much it interfered with the reality of the material.

–During the period of “Diviner” and “Joker”, Kline’s spirit state, apart from being able to divine and have intuition and hunches, only possessed the ability of two types of spells, namely direct attack on the soul and freezing the target by touching it, making the target appear frozen. After he was promoted to “Magician”, he was able to use several extraordinary abilities that did not depend on his physical body, such as paper doubles and air bullets, in his spiritual state.

In addition, he began to be able to possess others and perform preliminary manipulations.

Under the enhancement of the “Black Emperor” brand, the power of his spiritual body itself became larger, and the amount of matter it could carry became more, and the spell-like ability that directly attacked souls evolved into “Grievous Spirit Sharp Whistle”, which harmed the souls of all the creatures within its range with a sound wave that was invisible to humans, that is, the spiritual body. The sound waves are inaudible to humans, damaging the souls of all creatures in the area, i.e., the spirits, and similarly, the freezing effect of touching them is also significantly enhanced.

After confirming this, he found the wall in the corner, walked through it, and entered the restaurant.

Then, suppressing all intent, he let his gaze sweep over the long table without any emotion.

Herras in a white hairnet, Katie in a thin shirt, Parker with an old-fashioned face sipping red wine, and Capin, who was slightly overweight and cutting up the meat of a cow’s eye, came into his eyes one after another.

At the first touch of sight, Klein did not dare to look more than once, lest he should be detected by several extraordinary persons through inspiration.

With the help of the spiritual luster, that is, the aura color masking of the male and female servants who stood next to him, he carefully drifted around the dining room, figuring out the exact layout, such as the size of the place was equivalent to the living room plus dining room plus sitting room of his residence, such as there was a fireplace here, in which charcoal was being burned and, through the ducts, warmth was transmitted throughout the room, such as there were a total of sixteen elegant gas lamps around the periphery, and their rays of light intertwined together, bringing about a sensation of daylight, such as the walls to the side of the fireplace, hung with picture frames containing sketches and oil paintings, all of which were the work of famous artists.

”That bearded Belis didn’t come, should be rotating to guard the entrance to the underground area …… An extraordinary person is willing to do this kind of hard work, Kapin is definitely not involved in simple human trafficking …… “Klein thought for a few seconds, leaned against a sunset painting, reached inside and unscrewed the cap of the brown translucent vial.

  It was a “biotoxin vial”!

The reason why he valued the time and chose to come to the dinner is because at this moment, the main characters are gathered the most, the most neat and tidy, the most conducive to the effect of the “biotoxin bottle”!

And the closed doors and windows in early winter will make the “biotoxin vials” work faster and better!

In addition, Klein did not use the “Biotoxin Bottle” to make a “prophylactic agent” to take before he came here, he is now in a spiritual state, and is not afraid of biotoxins at all!

With the embrace and cover of his spiritual body, he stood there quietly, patiently admiring the elegant wall lamps connected to the grayish-white gas pipes, while the colorless and odorless toxins quickly spread out.

  ……

Wearing a white hairnet, Herras sliced a piece of fried keelfish with only the main spine, dabbed it with a bit of black pepper sauce, and stuffed it into his mouth.

Chewing and swallowing, he picked up the pale golden champagne bubbling like a beaded string and took a moody sip.

He was already unconsciously thinking freely of the evening’s entertainment, of the joy of a headstrong young girl being subjugated to himself.

It had dulled his appetite and made it impossible for him to concentrate.

Katie hadn’t asked her servant to help cut up the roasted rooster, and was burying her head in her hands, taking a knife and fork and quickly dividing the food into many pieces, all surprisingly about the same size, in a precise dissection-like style.

Parker was the most competent guest in the place as he sipped his wine and ate his lamb stew, occasionally making small talk with Capin at the main table.

The dinner proceeded in an organized manner, and Karpin put the last piece of beef eye into his mouth.

He smiled at the three extraordinary men:

”Mr. Heras, Ms. Katie, and Mr. Parker, tonight’s desserts come from Mr. Chef of La Boree Restaurant, there are three kinds of desserts in total, which are fruit crème brûlée, creamy shortbread, and carrot cake.”

The always aloof Herras nodded gently:

”We are so in love with desserts in this country.”

He had just finished his sentiment when he saw Karpin raise his hand and scratch his cheek, then scratch it again.

”It’s a bit itchy.” Kapin smiled apologetically.

Before the words left his mouth, he couldn’t resist scratching again, scratching out a visible blood mark.

The bloody mark quickly swelled up, the epidermis became translucent, and the yellowish liquid inside could be vaguely seen through it.

”It really is a bit itchy.” Karpin laughed again.

He scratched the original spot again, and because he was too hard, the epidermis that had swollen to translucency cracked open at once, and pus with a fishy odor spewed out.

Herath’s eyes narrowed and he snapped to his feet, examining his surroundings warily.

  ”Hahaha.”

  ”Hahaha, hahaha.”

It was at this time that he heard exaggerated laughter, and his body tensed up in a sudden manner.

He saw two servants, a man and a woman, holding their abdomens and laughing so hard that they couldn’t straighten their backs and tears flowed out of their eyes as they laughed so hard that the room went silent.

It seemed to be a chain reaction, some of the remaining servants fainted, and some kept vomiting, throwing up yellowish-green liquids that they couldn’t stop vomiting.

  None of them were spared.

Bang! Katie overturned the dining table, causing the gold-encrusted tableware and the remaining food and wine to spill all over the floor.

She already had a revolver in her hand, a soft black whip.

Parker followed and stood up, but with a small mental trance, he looked at Capin, who screamed for help and couldn’t stop clawing at the same time, and even tore off a few strips of blood and flesh hard and fast, and somehow thought that the other man’s ugly and disgusting appearance was a bit eyebrow-raising right now.

At that moment, Herras found himself a bit out of breath, instantly realizing that the entire room was feared to be filled with toxins.

He growled out in a low voice:

  ”Hold your breath!

  ”Parker, you open the door.

”Katie, you follow me to find the intruder!”

At this moment, Herras was exceptionally glad that dinner was served with Capin, and that there were a number of attendants around.

These ordinary people were far less resistant to toxins than the Extraordinary, and their early signs allowed himself and the others to notice something was wrong before they were deeply poisoned!

Parker, who has the lowest sequence, should have the worst symptoms among us …… Heras suddenly flashed such a thought.

  Clunk!

As Parker opened the door to the room, making the dining room less closed, Herras also relied on his “psychic vision” and discovered an illusory figure quietly wandering around.

The figure wore thick and majestic black armor, a black crown, and a mask of the same color that covered his face, like a king from the spirit world.

It was none other than Klein.

Heras raised his right hand, pointed at the black figure that was invisible to normal people, and mouthed an ancient Hermetic word:

  ”Imprison!”

All of a sudden, the black figure became viscous around it, as if it had formed a giant amber, or enclosed a sealed transparent wall.

The figure stood still, struggling to move a fraction of an inch, while Katie had already taken aim and pulled the trigger with considerable coordination.

With two thuds, pale gold bullets painted with strange patterns pierced through the sticky air and hit the black figure.

The bullet drilled through and hit the opposite wall, and the black silhouette spontaneously combusted without wind, actually a roughly cut paper figure.

In the light golden flames, the paper figure quickly turned into ashes.

  Snap!

A strange crunching sound erupted, and the light from the sixteen elegant gas sconces and the quietly burning flames inside the fireplace brightened up, illuminating Herras, Katie, and Parker briefly with nothing but a fiery red in front of their eyes.

Immediately afterward, all the flames went out, and only the street lamps equaling the height of the people outside the windows and the scarlet moonlight piercing through the layers of clouds silently illuminated the dining room, making the place seem bleak and unusual.

Herras and the others once again relied on psychic vision and inspiration to search for the spectral intruder.

In the meantime, he realized that the toxin wasn’t taking effect very quickly, and it didn’t seem to really kick in until the enemy was taken care of.

So, while keeping an eye out for movement at the entrance to the underground area, he once again pointed his finger at the door to the room and vocalized in a low voice in the ancient Hermetic language:

  ”Confinement!”

The entire dining room suddenly solidified, seemingly with an additional layer of invisible walls that were difficult for even spirits to penetrate.

Heras was going to make it impossible for that intruder to escape!

Found you! Katie, holding a revolver in one hand and a whip in the other, spotted the black figure floating into mid-air.

A strange light had just flashed in her eyes, and before she could make her attack, her mind buzzed as if she had been hit hard on the head with a wooden stick.

She felt an indescribable shrill whine hit her, and a few drops of sticky blood slowly fell down the end of her nose.

While Herras was only slightly dizzy and felt the symptoms of breathlessness worsen, the weakest, Parker, was bleary-eyed and his feet became wobbly.

Suddenly, Parker’s shoulder was tapped by someone.

A cold sensation raged over him, and he instantly stiffened in place, as if he was completely covered by frost and soaked into his bones by hypothermia, while a familiar low voice rang in his ears:

  ”Imprisonment!”

Puck was instantly trapped by the prison of transparent walls by the door, but Klein did not possess him and went straight through, just in time to avoid the effects of Herath’s spell.

Heras narrowed his eyes and flicked his right hand and said:

  ”Release!”
