No way, I’m not going anywhere here …… Trouble Long Legs, come over by myself? Klein gave a grimace that didn’t fit the Gelman Sparrow setting and nearly sucked in a breath of cold air.

The only reason he was prevented from doing so was that it would have made a lot of noise and would have allowed Trouble to discover his hiding place!

No longer a youthful night watchman, he made a quick decision, held his breath, stood up slowly, and with hardly a sound moved to the barred gate, looking stealthily and calmly to where the footsteps were coming from.

He figured that since hiding and avoiding no longer necessarily worked, he needed to make sure the danger was relevant in order to make the most appropriate choice!

With two diminutive suns in his eyes, Klein waited for a few dozen seconds and heard the footsteps grow heavier and clearer, accompanied by the clunk of an iron door being pushed open and slammed against the wall.

Immediately afterward, he saw a tall figure appear on the right side of the corridor.

This figure was close to two and a half meters, wearing a black armor that covered the whole body, the cold feeling was like substance, it seemed to be a giant knight.

His breath was introverted and silent like the deep sea, his eyes flickered with two crimson glows, and in his hand, he carried a long and wide black straight sword.

  Clang!

He pushed open the iron door of a cell and stepped in, turning around as if searching for something.

Hiss …… This is looking for some prisoner? This will surely find me …… Klein hesitated, thinking whether he should leave the cell and find another way out before the other party was even close enough, or whether he should storm out and attack, dispose of his target cleanly and then continue to hunker down and wait for the dream to end.

Judging how much time he had for himself to think, Klein quickly unclasped the citrine pendant inside the cuff of his left wrist and did a divination in a voice that almost only he could hear:

”That knight just now was very powerful.”

After chanting seven times on the fly, Klein opened his eyes and saw the citrine pendant doing a clockwise rotation, with a large amplitude and fast speed.

This meant that the target was a very dangerous being!

Without any further hesitation or time to hesitate, Klein utilized the extraordinary ability of the “Joker” to control his muscles and pulled open the barred gate without creating any additional movement.

Then he took the opportunity of the black-armored knight to enter another cell, and lightly stepped into the corridor, shrinking his body to the left and quickly moving forward.

In the thick darkness, he listened to the movements behind him while maintaining stealthy and swift movements, and soon rounded a corner and arrived at a folio iron gate that was suspected to be an exit.

Trying to push and pull, Klein realized that the iron door wasn’t too heavy, it was just unlocked by someone.

After thinking for two seconds, he took out the key he had picked up inside the cell, inserted it into the lock hole and twisted it without much hope.

A slight clicking sound came out, and the counter lock on the folio steel door was lifted.

Is this even possible? Although it’s a dream, you can’t just pick up a key that’s an important prop ah …… I had originally planned to draw paper into a soldier, insert it into the doorway, and cut it continuously, one after the other …… Klein slowly pushed open the iron door half puzzled and half slandered.

To his dismay, behind the iron door was not an exit, but a hall with many piles of clutter.

Casually closing the door and unlocking it again, Klein looked around the messy piles of items for a possible door or path.

After a few seconds, he noticed a less-than-impressive black wooden door in the corner, and carefully leaned in close, probing the handle.

The scene inside naturally came to him; a storage room with a full-length mirror on the right side, and a figure in a short linen robe cowering on the right.

Someone? The escaped prisoner? Forced out of his comfort zone, Klein decided to take limited initiative, so he slowly twisted the handle and pushed open the black wooden door.

He wanted to get a general grasp of what exactly was going on in order to decide whether to flee or fight in a critical situation.

”Who?” The figure in the short linen robes asked sharply but in a whisper, his tone filled with desperation and pain.

  ”An adventurer.” Klein replied simply.

He had relied on his night vision to get a good look at the figure:

It was a man with a weathered face, with quite deep wrinkles on his forehead, at the corners of his eyes, and around his mouth, but his hair was dark and glossy, without a single silver strand.

His short linen robes were ancient and simple, his expression was twisted somewhat by pain, and in his rare pure black eyes was an astonishment and doubt that was hard to hide:

  ”Adventurer?

  ”How did you get here?”

Keeping his distance from the man he didn’t know whether to count as young or pale, Klein stood in the doorway and looked at the other man:

”It is a necessary courtesy to introduce yourself before questioning someone.”

As a “Faceless Man”, he had already grasped the other man’s features based on the short time he had just looked at him – in addition to the contradictory hair color and wrinkles, there was also a hideous old scar on his cheek.

The man was stunned, glancing worriedly down the hall:

”You’d better close the door, we can’t get caught by that demon or ……”

The muscles in his face visibly twitched twice, as if he recalled something bad.

”Demon?” Klein whispered, reaching back and closing the black wooden door.

The man sighed in relief and smiled bitterly:

”I’m sorry, I really wasn’t polite enough earlier.

”My name is Leomaster, an ascetic of a religious organization.”

”A religious organization? It seems not to be a follower of one of the Seven Gods.” Klein noticed a problem from the other party’s wording.

If it was an ascetic who believed in one of the seven gods, it was obvious that he could speak bluntly, and even the clergyman of the Church of the Sun and the bishop of the Church of the Storm wouldn’t fight at the first meeting in such a dangerous place.

  Leomaster smiled to himself:

”Yes, I worship the original that Creator, k is the omniscient and omnipotent being, the root of all greatness, k is the beginning and the end, k is the God of Gods!”

This …… hearing that the other party worships the original Creator, Klein’s first reaction is “Dusk Hermit Society”.

However, it is true that there are still some small sects that do primitive worship within the North and South continents, and there are not many people who believe in the original Creator …… Klein asked with deliberation:

”What is the name of that religious organization of yours?

  ”How did you get here?”

  Leomaster said hesitantly:

”The easternmost part of the Sunia Sea is where my Lord sleeps, and the holy mountain of k is hidden somewhere here, and I led a pilgrimage to this place in an attempt to witness a miracle and redeem myself.

”Perhaps it was an inevitable test, we were captured by that demon and died one by one ……

”Later, I seized the opportunity to escape the cell and hid here until the demon left.”

  Klein thought for a moment:

”Do you know what that demon’s name is? What are his characteristics?”

”Him?” Leomaster shook his head, slightly confused, “I don’t know his exact name, but many pilgrims seem to recognize him, calling him the ‘Saint of Black’.”

The Saint of Black? A demigod? Was this Leomaster’s dream, or that demigod’s? From the results of my divination, it should be the latter, otherwise it’s not too dangerous …… Klein was about to ask Leomaster which organization he belonged to and find out the general extraordinary abilities of the “Saint of Black”, when out of the corner of his eye he suddenly swept across the ascetic’s A full-length mirror.

In the occult, mirrors are the gateway to the hidden unknown world, and can easily lead to terrible accidents, so Klein, who was in a dangerous dream world, cautiously walked over to the mirror, intending to use his “Priest of Light” ability to directly destroy the object.

”No, don’t!” Leomaster seemed to have sensed Klein’s intention, and cried out in a low voice of terror, “Without it, I’ll, I’ll die immediately!”

Huh? Klein looked at the glasses again in confusion.

Although the environment here was unusually dark, two figures were clearly reflected within the mirror, a Leomaster with quite a few wrinkles and dark hair, and a Gelman Sparrow with a thin face, black hair and brown pupils, and a duck-tongued cap.

At this very moment, just when Klein didn’t make any movements, the Gelman Sparrow in the mirror slowly turned his head and gave him a grim smile!

A ripple suddenly rippled through the mirror, and a hand reached outwards.

Klein merely blinked, and the Gelman Sparrow, who looked exactly like him, crawled out from within the mirror, his face tinted by darkness with a distinctly eerie look!

Very scary …… Unfortunately, I don’t grow Gelman Sparrow like this, so you didn’t scare me …… If, what was presented and drilled out of the mirror was Zhou Mingrui, I’m afraid I would have woken up straight away in shock… …Klein calmly looked at the other party and raised his left hand, on which a layer of sunlight had flowed.

The eerie Germaine Sparrow smiled and raised his left hand as well, causing the glove to emerge in a dignified but sinister deep black.

This corresponds to the ability of the “Baron of Corruption”!

My clone? Klein thought for a moment and raised his right hand again without expression.

In his palm, he was holding a short, cream-colored scepter that appeared out of nowhere, with a circle of greenish-blue “jewels” inlaid on the head.

  ”Neptune’s Scepter”!

Although the behavior in the dream world must be logical in order to achieve the desired effect, Klein suspected that this illusory world could not influence the gray fog to affect that mysterious space, so he just tried to simplify the ritual process by telling himself that the “Scepter of Poseidon” was kept in a place similar to the unique area of the spirit world, and that he could take it out whenever he wanted. Whenever he wanted, he could take it out.

The result of the attempt made Klein happy, the dream world really can’t tell the difference between the unique area of the spiritual world and the gray fog, under the premise that “Neptune’s Scepter” really belongs to him, this demi-god level seal was “taken” out!

Really can work …… or else we have to fight with the opposite side of the battle …… Klein secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

He was equally confident that the mirror would not be able to replicate the part related to the gray mist.

The eerie Germaine Sparrow looked across the room slightly dumbfounded and instinctively followed suit by raising his hand, but the inside of his right palm was empty.

Then he saw countless streaks of silver-white lightning shoot out, wrapping themselves in layers, making him consume the “paper doubles” one by one without being able to jump out of the area.

Convergence of a huge ball of lightning illuminated the narrow room that could not be avoided, and then disappeared with Germaine Sparrow in the mirror.

For some reason, Klein felt inexplicably sedated at this moment, as if he had entered Sage Time.

He turned his head and looked back at Leomast Road:

”What exactly is the name of that religious organization you joined?”

  Leomaster winced and answered:

”The Society of the Aurora ……”

The Aurora Order? Klein was stunned for a moment and couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.

Just then, there was a loud clunk from outside, and the unlocked folio iron door seemed to have been kicked open.

  Dang! Dang! Thud!

Footsteps as heavy as drums marched directly towards the corner, as if they had already discovered Klein and Leomaster’s hiding place.

Klein suspected that the movement of the lightning storm just now had made the “Saint of Black” aware of it!

There is no way to hide …… Klein held the “Scepter of Poseidon” in his hand, and kicked the black wooden door of the storeroom out, and kicked it towards the “Sage of Black”!

As the door tumbled, he got a good look at his target:

The knight in black full body armor had somehow pushed up his faceplate, revealing a deeply wrinkled face, a few strands of shiny black hair, and old scars on his cheeks.

He looked exactly like Leomaster, even the subtle features matched perfectly!

The only difference was that his eyes glowed a deep red.
