Part 3 The Traveler Chapter 67 The Elder Elf
As the cascade of illusory supplications entered his ears, Klein felt as if he now had a physical body, and a throbbing pain in the depths of his head that made him want to slam against a wall to stop the pain.
The images of prayers from different people made him experience an uncontrollable and terrifying dizziness, as if he was walking on the edge of an abyss and would fall at any time.
It was because he had the “Black Emperor” card and the Aztec copper whistle to strengthen his spiritual body, and he was used to the feeling of being prayed for by people, if he were any other non-demigods, he would have lost control of his body, collapsed in pain, transformed into a monster or crumbled into flesh and blood.
All of the extraordinary characteristics of this place with the help of the snake teeth blended into a seal, and the degree of danger and negative effects are far more than the “2” level …… Klein did not blindly go forward, but instead, a few steps back, away from the area of the concentration of prayers, to ease the pain and dizziness that can make the spirit body disintegrate with pain and dizziness.
He stood beside Cavituva’s messy body and gazed up at the white scepter stuck in a half-fallen pillar, pondering what to take away.
Meanwhile, he had naturally named the sealed object in his mind:
”Neptune’s Scepter!”
Well, from what I just felt and reacted to, I was barely able to get close enough to pull it off, but only for a few seconds, unable to carry or use it …… But that’s okay, as soon as I have it, I’ll end the summoning and return to the gray mist above, where I can effectively shield myself from these thousands of prayers and negative effects unknown to me for the time being, allowing me to safely Conduct research …… Klein quickly got an idea.
There was no need to flip another coin; the resentful spirit state instinctively allowed him to communicate with the spirit world and receive revelations.
His spiritual intuition told him that this was not very dangerous.
With the decision made, Klein began to clean up the mess and see what he could find in the ancient elven ruins in the meantime.
He first went to the corner, picked up the translucent “biotoxin vial”, screwed on the cap and stuffed it into his body, and then when he turned around, he realized that under the rotten body of Kavituva, there was an iron cigarette case half hidden half exposed.
This …… I thought it had been swallowed by Kavituva and had corroded into residue …… Klein tsked and walked over quickly.
Because he had previously been somewhat numbed by the electric currents that had escaped from the seawater, he lifted his right hand in vain, letting the iron cigarette case float slowly on its own and fall into his palm.
With a sweep of his eyes, Klein saw that the surface of this iron cigarette case was covered with traces of corrosion, but it was still barely usable, and as for the other items that had been sucked away by the whirlpool of seawater at that time, there wasn’t the slightest bit of residue.
”Was it the scent of the gray mist that made Kavituva uncomfortable and spit it out on the spot, or did this iron cigarette case have a certain mutation that was corroded less quickly and lasted until Kavituva died?” While Klein was puzzled, he had casually placed the cigarette case into his body, ready to leave and then do his research.
In a scenario like this, it was necessary to race against the clock without the slightest delay, because Klein didn’t know when the people from the Storm Church and the Kingdom’s military would find this place!
He bypassed the half-fallen pillar from a distance and entered the back of the hall that had almost completely collapsed.
There should have been quite a few murals here, but they had shattered and disappeared with the destruction of the walls, and Klein flew all the way to the end before he saw an exquisitely ornate throne buried by stones and pillars, only revealing almost a third of it.
On the left side of the throne, there are remnants of half a mural, the content of two figures facing each other:
Standing tall and looking down on his foe was a man treading the waves, covered in dark clouds and stormy winds, with softer, oriental-looking silhouettes that favored Krynn’s past life, and carrying a spear made purely of electricity in his hand, with the ocean drowning everything in the background.
Below this man was a man in a simple white robe, his face blurred, making it difficult to tell his age, but barely a male.
There was a halo of light behind the head of the man in white robes with a very classical flavor, quietly emitting a glow like a sun.
Under his feet, there was an illusory circle divided into twelve compartments, with symbols symbolizing different times within each compartment.
Behind him hid a shadow that looked like a curtain, and within the shadow there seemed to be an eye peering silently out.
With a solid background in the occult and a wealth of insight sourced from various sources, Klein did a quick reading:
Waves, storms, clouds, lightning …… This should be the ancient god “Elf King” Sunyasolem …… Sure enough, as the legend says, the elf’s facial features are quite soft. …… This ancient “Lord of Storms” does not have a violent feeling, looks unexpectedly good, oh, this is the elf ruins within the mural, beautification of their own gods is very normal ……
Sun-like halo, symbolizing the twelve circles of time, this …… is not the father of Amon and Adam, in the outside world is rumored to be the ancient sun god, in the silver city is honored as the omniscient and omnipotent god of the “Creator”. k Behind the shadow curtain, behind the curtain there is also an eye …… There is also an eye hidden behind the curtain. …… By the way, there is an image of the “real Creator” as the “eye behind the curtain of shadow”! (Note 1)
Surely, this is the same “Creator” who took back the authority of the ancient gods and was followed by eight “kings of angels”?
This fresco depicts the “Elf King” Sunyasolem’s fight against the “Creator”?
Krynn withdrew his gaze and looked for something else of value.
Following his spiritual intuition, he went to the throne, reached into the bottom of the collapsed stone and pillar, and pulled out an object.
It was a flattened golden goblet.
It was inscribed with an elaborate and delicate pattern on its surface, the high foot had been bent, and there was a line of elvish text on the bottom:
”Plague of Heaven, Gohinam.”
The original owner of this relic was an upper elf called Gohinam? His, or K’s, title was “Plague of Heaven”? Well …… it matches with the Book of Natural Disasters that Laetitia and the others discovered, both relics should belong to the High Spirit Gohinam, and there is a quite marvelous connection between them …… Unfortunately, this golden wine cup is just a simple wine cup, and it only carries a little bit of spirituality because it is engraved with the true name of a High Spirit. If Gohinam hadn’t fallen,……, even if it was just a real name, it would have given the wine cup an unusual ability. Unfortunately,……, Klein initially judged that Gohinam was already dead because of the “Sea God” Kavitutu. Neptune” Kavituva is k’s successor.
However, Klein can’t be sure about this, because after hundreds and thousands of years, that “Book of Natural Disasters” still has the qualities to make Laticia, an extraordinary person of no lesser sequence, go crazy and lose control.
”And it’s not like something that ‘Sea God’ Kavituva can do …… Could it be that the High Elf Gohinam has the secret art of splitting his own extraordinary traits, and that what Kavituva inherited is only part of it? The other majority was the source of the traits of the Book of Natural Disasters?
”Gohinam is dead but not dead?
”Of course, Kavituva at the time of swallowing Gohinam’s extraordinary traits was just a beast with little intelligence, and who knows what happened at that time; perhaps, some of the traits were lost, congealed into a seal, and fell into the hands of the Church of Storms after Kavituva’s defeat ……
”Well, next week’s Tarot will ask the little ‘sun’ through the ‘world’, he should know who Gohinam really is, in fact, there’s no need to ask, he dedicated two more pages of ancient mythology today, and next time there might be a superior elf The detailed descriptions of them ……”
Klein thought for a moment and tucked the goblet in as well, after all, it was made of gold, and even if the High Elf Gohinam was not dead, and there was some connection with the goblet, there was a gray mist that could shield and isolate it.
After examining it and seeing that there was nothing more to be gained, Klein quickly flew back outside and picked up the black hardwood cane, slightly disposing of the traces left from the previous battle.
Then, he drew out a piece of paper man and casually shook his hand, flinging it out, letting it fly in the seawater to rot wetly and turn into powder.
The first part can interfere, the next I have no time and no chance to influence …… Fortunately, I am now the “Black Emperor” disguise …… Cavituva’s remains, flesh and blood is no longer valuable, and the bones are too heavy. The bones are too heavy, and may affect my ability to take the “Neptune’s Scepter.”…… Klein stabilized himself with the help of meditation, and quickly flew to the short white bone staff stuck in the half-fallen pillar.
The illusory cascade of prayers once again drilled into his ears, or pious, or crying, or fervent, or numb prayers blurred to occupy his vision, throbbing pain and dizziness of two feelings more and more intense.
Klein rely on rich experience and “Black Emperor” card, Aztec copper whistle reinforcement, barely supported, finally came to the “Neptune scepter” side.
He stretched out his right hand and gripped the middle part of the white bone scepter.
Just as the two came into contact, the image in front of Klein’s eyes became clear, and the illusory sound buzzing in his ears became real in an instant.
He saw the bald wheelchair-bound rebel Karat fall to the ground, crawling with difficulty towards the self-shattering Kavituva idol, chanting the honorable name repeatedly under his breath, with despair in his eyes.
He saw the green and blue sea serpent tattooed Edmonton ambling to the other Kavituva idol that was bleeding grotesquely, constantly banging his head against the ground, hitting it to a bloody pulp.
He saw the slums, where a devotee hid in his home, weeping and numbly praying.
……
The black full-body armor on Klein’s body surface could no longer be supported and flew to collapse.
At the same time, his solid “muscles” bulged, and his hand exerted force, and in the cascading and echoing sound of prayers and clear and numerous images, he violently pulled up the short white bone staff, which symbolized the authority of Poseidon!
Clatter!
The waters of the entire ruin surged fiercely, or swayed more than once, or collapsed into a whirlpool.
Wearing a black crown, Klein calmly held the “Neptune’s Scepter”, and his figure disappeared, returning directly to the gray fog.
When the familiar majestic palace came into view, the prayers in his ears and the hallucinatory scene in front of him had disappeared.
Klein sat on the high-backed chair belonging to the Fool, raised his right palm, and scrutinized the “Scepter of Poseidon”, which was inlaid with green and blue “jewels”, and tinted with a little bit of darkness and morning sunlight.
Around the seal, countless points of light floated, each point seemed to correspond to a praying believer, which made the scepter’s milky white body glow, both psychedelic and sacred.
At this moment, Klein felt that this scepter was the “God of the Sea” himself!
