Klein pressed against the gray wall and slowly sat up straight, smiling and shaking his head:

”My brain resists working until it fills my stomach.”

This was both the truth and a lie on his part, because before becoming a complete mythological creature, a Saint would still be hungry and thirsty, but for a Sequence 3 Demigod, ten days and half a month without replenishment of food and water would be bearable, and as for complete mythological creatures, eating was only a hobby, not a necessity.

The point Klein was trying to make was that he needed to adjust himself to the best possible condition before officially starting his escape.

”A ‘magician’s’ habit.” Amon commented with a smile, “I’m not responsible for providing food, but you can figure it out on your own.”

Klein glanced at the leather lantern on the ground and after a few seconds of thought, he probed his right hand and grasped it into the void.

A not-so-tall coffee table appeared in front of him at once, an item from within the Dawn Dantes mansion.

In the dim glow, Klein reached out once more, performed a summoning, and pulled out a beautifully wrapped box from the historical orifice.

Inside this box was a complete set of cutlery, including a knife, fork, plate, and cup.

Klein chose this thing because summoning different cutlery individually would not make a set – he could only maintain three images within the historical aperture at the same time.

After arranging the cutlery without panic, Klein politely turned his head sideways and nodded to Amon, who wore a pointed fedora, before he summoned a seven-minute steak coated with black pepper sauce from the historical aperture.

It landed on a porcelain plate, steaming a little, revealing the side that still had remnants of myoglobin as the dinner knife cut through it.

Klein forked a piece of beef and stuffed it into his mouth, only to realize that the texture was real and the taste was wonderful, not at all fake, and truly soothed the burning in his stomach.

”In a quarter of an hour, not only will I not be hungry, but I’ll have a ‘real’ supplement.” After swallowing the piece of beef, Klein smiled and made his introductions to Amon like a hospitable host rather than a poor extraordinary person who had been tragically kidnapped.

Amon rested against the lower rim of his crystal-carved monocle and nodded with a smile:

”I’ve tried it, and it’s not bad.

”You’re adjusting to your status quickly, you really aren’t considering being my favorites?”

Klein cut off another piece of beef and forked it up as he responded like he was making small talk with a friend:

  ”You kill me.”

At this moment, more frequent lightning and endless darkness alternately ruled the land, and where the surrounding light couldn’t shine, an eye watched without any emotion, the twisted wasteland of dark red at the tip gently danced following the breeze that blew by every now and then.

And inside the half-collapsed building, a dim glow gilded the extremely artistic coffee table and delicate cutlery with warm colors, and the scent of frying steaks filled the air if anything, the polar opposite of the barely spaced outside environment.

Klein, against the watchful eyes of horrible monsters in the depths of darkness, dined with elegance and grace above the barren, gray, and brewing earth of great horror.

After finishing his steak, he beckoned for a small glass of ice wine from the Maege Manor and downed it in one gulp.

Next, creamy bisque, sautéed cod, tender lamb stewed with peas, h potato skins, and a variety of wines were summoned in turn, and made their way into Krynn’s stomach.

In the process, the earliest steak eaten had exceeded its maintenance time and disappeared into thin air, but Klein’s stomach pouch and body were too paralyzed by the subsequent food to notice this.

Of course, the coffee table and cutlery had been summoned by the replenishment, otherwise it would never have lasted until the end.

At the end of this meal, Klein proceeded to probe his hand and pulled a cup out of the void containing a ball of vanilla ice cream.

Klein then scooped down that ice cream with a dessert spoon and stuffed it into his mouth, feeling it melt and sweeten.

After one ball, he couldn’t get enough of it and summoned another ball from the historical orifice.

In this way, Klein ate five consecutive balls of ice cream of different flavors.

When Klein was probing for the sixth time, Amon, who was sitting on his flank, suddenly laughed:

”You’ve been lucky enough to have an abnormal change in your fate.

  ”Is this your preparation?”

Klein’s outstretched right hand suddenly froze in midair, and his pupils seemed to appear dilated to a certain extent.

Almost at the same time, in the deep darkness around them, where the lantern’s light couldn’t reach, an oddly shaped creature twitched in unison, instantly turning into Klein’s secret puppet.

This time, Klein sent out a hundred “Spirit Worms” in one breath, hoping that some of them would be lucky enough to evade Amon’s theft.

Immediately behind the coffee table, the figure in the black tweed coat without a hat was replaced by a vampire covered in pus and extremely disgusting.

The very artistic coffee table and the fine cutlery were like glass that had fallen on the ground, cracking numerous cracks and breaking apart all at once.

They flew back into the historical orifices so as not to affect Klein’s subsequent summons.

In the next second, the one hundred secret puppets, along with the body of Klein, who had hidden somewhere, explored their hands in unison and grabbed into the void, using the number of times to circumvent Amon’s interference.

At this moment, they were all “Ancient Scholars”.

This is the ability of the “Trickster”, and the source of the “Diviner’s” transformation.

Of course, the probability of success of each secret puppet is independent of each other, and there is no influence on each other.

At this moment, what Klein wanted to summon was the projection of the messenger lady Renette Tignicole when she was restored to her peak state in the ruins of Tudor, because of the relationship between the contract and the talisman, this was the image of the angel that he could most easily summon out of the hole in history!

Amon remained seated at ease, his monocle floating shimmeringly as he watched a hundred and one Krynn perform their summons at the same time.

Right hand neatly probed and retracted, neither Klein nor his one hundred secret puppets succeeded in dragging Renette Tignicole out of the void.

At that moment, Amon raised his right hand and grasped it forward as well.

His arm sank slightly and pulled back casually, and a ragdoll as huge as a castle, dressed in a long, somber, complicated dress and bound by vines, appeared outside the half-collapsed building.

  ”Ancient Evil Thing”, Renette Tynecol!

Amon steals the historical pore image summoned by Klein!

Renette Tignicole’s red eyes swirled within and reflected the figures of Klein’s one hundred secret dolls.

Wordlessly, a shimmering light rose from those Secret Puppets that were either in Klein’s shape or in a monster state, transforming into goats with long horns on their heads, white rabbits, and other different animals.

  ”Transformation Curse.”

Klein’s main body had long since disappeared, and then stepped out of the firelight rising from the leather lantern.

He glanced at the assortment of animals that he might be able to call his own, and suddenly sat down again, grinning:

”A walk after a meal is effective in improving health.”

He made half a mention of his earlier attempt to escape, as if nothing had happened.

Amon maintained his previous laid-back stance and nodded with a very cooperative smile:

”I’ve read quite a few books written by humans, and they do have that point of view in them.”

Speaking of this, K raised his hand and pointed to the projection of Renette Tynecol outside:

  ”This is your messenger?”

It was something that was easily confirmed, and Klein didn’t make a secret of it, nodding with a “hmm”.

”Pity.” Amon looked Renette Tynicol’s projection up and down for a few moments and tsked, shaking his head.

Klein opened his mouth to ask while feeling the sequential disappearance of the food inside his stomach pouch:

  ”What’s the pity?”

”I should have taken you to wait a few more days in Berkland, that way, I could have waited for your messenger to send you a letter, and then, k would have become my messenger.” Amon pushed down the monocle in his right eye and smiled, “Stealing an angelic messenger is challenging and fun, isn’t it? Life always needs some fun, excitement and anticipation.”

”That’s what I thought.” Klein responded sincerely to Amon’s words.

”Pity.” Amon, who wore a pointed floppy hat, shook his head again, “‘Darkness’ is an object that must be watched out for, and if it stays any longer, I don’t know what will happen.”

As she spoke, the “Angel of Time” lifted the maintenance of the historical pore image of Renette Tignicole, allowing k to disappear in front of Klein’s face.

”You seem to be scornful of, Goddess?” Klein disguised himself as a devotee of the “Goddess of the Night”.

Of course, he didn’t really need to disguise himself, he was still a member of the Night’s Favorites.

Amon’s gaze shifted to the leather lantern inside the half-collapsed building, looking at the dim light and saying:

”I can’t steal what I want to know from the hidden secrets, can’t decipher what else K would have set up, where the real key points are.”

For a King of Angels of the “Stealer” pathway, that was reason enough to be scornful.

Taking the opportunity of Amon’s answer to this question, Klein suddenly mentally chanted the honorable name of the “Goddess of Night” in the Giant’s language:

”You are the Goddess of Night …… who is more sublime than the stars and more timeless than eternity.”

As soon as he had uttered the words, the thought was lost, and he would not have realized that he had made such an attempt had he not had a similar intention before.

Amon turned his head to him and smiled:

”Are you trying to test whether or not I’ll repeat myself internally after stealing your thoughts and words?

”By becoming a ‘parasite’ of Sequence 4, you can control what you steal and make them present at the right time.”

  ”So.” Klein nodded gently, “Thanks.”

While speaking, Klein inwardly quickly summarized the experience and lessons learned from the escape operation just now:

  Because of the existence and affiliation of the contract, of all the angels I know, summoning Miss Messenger is the easiest to succeed;

  Summoning ice cream from the hands of Will in the past can establish a subtle connection with the k that represents destiny, and receive the favor of luck… Well, each ball of ice cream can represent a portion of luck… …… I had originally planned to use the summoning of ice cream as a cover to secretly summon the “Serpent of Destiny”…. I was originally planning to summon the “Serpent of Destiny” in secret under the guise of summoning ice cream;

After the summoning, I had to do a certain amount of interference, otherwise Amon would have been able to steal the image of the historical pore that I summoned, and instead of going through all that effort, I gave K a helper ……

Just as Klein’s thoughts were spinning, Amon pointed at the pile of animals that had suffered the “Transformation Curse” and revealed a slightly nasty smile:

”Didn’t you worry that there was no suitable food in the Godforsaken Land? Now there is, as long as the curse is not lifted, they are real animals.”

…… Klein froze for a moment and snapped his eyes to the goats and white rabbits.

As his intention drove him, the animals’ eyes turned to him at the same time.

In a sense, they were all Kraven himself, after all, they were the “Spirit Worm” and the monster after the combination of the curse to become.
