BECKLAND, JORWOOD DISTRICT, 22 Hope Road, Hat Trick Inn.

Broad-shouldered, thick-armed Dorian Gray Abraham paced back and forth unconsciously in his room, waiting for his pupil Forsyth to visit.

As frank as he was, as prepared as he was, he could not help being a little nervous and apprehensive at the final moment when he really needed to face the answer.

I don’t know how long it took, but the door of the room resounded with the sound of knocking.

Dorian listened sideways for a few seconds to the rhythm of the interval, then took a deep breath, walked to the door, twisted the knob, and pulled back.

At the door was none other than Forsyth, with slightly curly brown hair, a long dark dress, and tinted glass glasses.

Dorian looked behind Folth out of habit to make sure no one was paying attention to this side of the room before stepping aside and allowing the student to pass.

At the same time, he glanced at Folth’s hands and realized that his own student was not carrying a suitcase.

Dorian then withdrew his gaze and walked to the center of the room, finding a seat before pointing to the couch across from him:

  ”Have a seat.”

Voorhees lifted her skirt rather formally and sat down, and greeted her smoothly:

  ”Good morning, teacher.”

Dorian didn’t step straight to the point, and after a moment’s thought said:

”Is it true that you killed Buttis?”

”Uh-huh.” Forsyth pulled a delicately slender cigarette case from within a concealed pocket of his clothing, opened it up, and showed Dorian what was inside.

They were two eyes with deep black pupils, frozen in unspeakable horror, as if they had seen something extremely horrible before they died.

Dorian had mentally prepared himself to receive, as he had last time, a horrific head cobbled together from bloodstained fragments that would give one nightmares, but the student hadn’t even lifted his luggage, only produced the lady’s cigarette case.

This made him think that inside was a relic that would prove Buttis’ identity, but once again, he was surprised:

It was still the remains of Buttis’s corpse, but with even less residue than the Louis Vine one!

Only a pair of eyes remained …… The psychic intuition of the “astrologer” convinced Dorian that the eyes really belonged to Boutis.

Seeing his teacher fall into silence and not speak, Voorhees subconsciously explained:

”His body has completely collapsed and dissipated, only this pair of eyeballs is still intact.”

  She added after a pause:

”These eyeballs have remnants of Boutis’s pre-death panic and contamination from the ‘Box of Old Days’, they are very strong cursed items, so I didn’t send them directly to you, that would have caused bad things to happen to the letter carriers who handled them, or even died without realizing it.”

”The contamination of the Box of Old Days” …… Dorian nodded with some realization, sighing and laughing:

”Did he end up dying from the ‘Box of Old Days’?

”This is really destiny ah ……”

When Boutis rebelled and attracted the people from the Aurora Society, the first item he grabbed was the Box of Old Days.

Forsyth had listened to the “Hidden” lady and “Justice” lady tell the general story in the private party to distribute the loot, and understood how magnificent and thrilling the battle he had missed was, and thought about it at this time:

  ”Sort of. ……

”But he was already getting out of control before he was contaminated by the ‘Box of Old Days’.”

Dorian, not surprised, said to his student:

”Put it away, it’s a trophy that belongs to you.”

Once Voorhees had closed the cigarette case and returned it to its concealed pocket, Dorian leaned forward, crossed his arms, and said against his nose:

”Buttis was one of the most gifted ‘apprentices’ I’ve ever seen, who knew it would end up like this ……”

At this point, Dorian let out a long sigh, as if he was remembering something, confessing something.

Forsyth didn’t really know the details of those things back then, and didn’t dare to speak up, but could only remain silent, waiting for his teacher to come out of his emotions on his own.

After ten or so seconds, Dorian straightened up and turned to ask:

”How did you digest the ‘Records Officer’ magic potion?”

This was not just caring about the student, but also accumulating experience to provide some reference for other members of the family to teach their students.

Foerth’s expression instantly became a bit complicated, as if he recalled something he didn’t want to recall:

”It was mainly because someone provided help, on the one hand letting me ‘record’ many or peculiar or high-level abilities, and on the other hand taking me to multiple places within a few months to ‘record’ different folklore and beauty ……”

Dorian nodded after a moment of silence:

”It’s not something to mimic ……”

  He then asked:

  ”Germaine Sparrow?”

”Uh-huh.” Forsyth responded in the affirmative.

Dorian fell silent again, after a few seconds:

”What kind of deal did he want?

”Or rather, what does he want?”

Folth shot to his feet and answered, rather embarrassed:

”He wants the ‘Traveling Mage’s’ magic potion formula, and he wants to trade the ‘Box of Old Days’ for one of the two ‘0’ ranked seals in your possession. ”

This price is absolutely generous, Forsyth originally thought that Mr. World was going to use his promise to directly exchange the “Traveling Mage” magic potion formula and “0” level seals, but he never thought that he also added “I didn’t realize that he was going to add the Box of the Olden Days.

Of course, the promise of freeing the Abrahams family from the curse is certainly worth that much to Dorian, but a promise is always a promise and may not be realized.

Dorian was not surprised that Gelman Sparrow asked for a “0” level seal, and was prepared for it, but thought that the conditions were superior to the imagination, after all, today, there are not many things that the Abraham family can still let a demigod covet.

  He frowned slightly and said:

”What does he want the ‘Traveling Mage’ magic potion formula for?”

  ”I don’t know.” Voorhees replied matter-of-factly.

Dorian stood and began to pace.

Suddenly, he stopped and looked over at Voorhees:

”I need to meet with him and talk before I can make up my mind.”

”Good.” Voorhees agreed without any difficulty at all.

With a secret sigh of relief, Dorian prepared to send his student away, then quickly took out the potion and took it.

–He had arranged to meet at this point in time because he had counted on the fact that his curse was about to break out, and if anything really happened, the enemy would definitely not be able to get through to his spirit in time.

But when Voorhees got up, she didn’t walk towards the door; she stood still and grabbed at the void in front of her.

Her arm sank violently and darted back, dragging out a figure wearing a black trench coat and a silk bowler hat.

This figure, with black hair and brown pupils, a deep silhouette and cold, hard lines, was none other than Germaine Sparrow.

Gelman Sparrow’s eyes moved slightly, quickly getting rid of the dullness and becoming no different from a real person.

”Teacher, he’s here.” Forsyth solemnly introduced, “He is Germaine Sparrow.”

This maneuver watched Dorian Gray Abraham’s mouth open slightly, forgetting to close it, and briefly actually failing to respond.

–While he came from an ancient family and held many hidden secrets, but hindered by the fact that he himself was only Sequence 7, there were many things that could not be truly imagined even after seeing the descriptions.

After Klein’s consciousness shifted over, he reached into the inside of his clothing and pulled out a gold-cased pocket watch.

Snapping it open, he pressed the pocket watch and glanced at it, addressing Dorian without a hint of emotion:

  ”You have three minutes.”

…… Exactly the same as the rumors, cold, arrogant, crazy …… Dorian didn’t dare to delay and said bluntly:

”Give me a reason to believe your promise.”

Klein closed his pocket watch and spoke as he returned it to the inside of his clothing:

”Actually, I have mastered the ritual to bring back Mr. ‘Gate’.”

Dorian’s eyes lit up and he was about to ask offhand when he heard Germaine Sparrow calmly add:

”But I do not intend to do so.”

”Why?” Both Dorian and Voorhees looked puzzled, except that one dared to ask and the other didn’t.

Klein looked out the window and said:

”Do you know about the pollution originating from the stars?”

Apart from the true gods and angels, the Abraham family definitely ranked number one when it came to knowledge of the starry sky, and Klein believed that they were bound to have left some hints and hidden records.

Dorian solemnly nodded his head and said:

  ”I know.”

”I suspect that Mr. ‘Gate’ has been tainted by the stars.” Klein explained simply, “As for my promise, it has a way of being fulfilled right now, you just may not want it, and that doesn’t solve the curse completely.”

”What way?” Dorian held back his surging excitement and asked a follow-up question.

Klein’s expression turned serious for a moment:

”You and the members of your family are converted to believe in my Lord, that way, at the time of the full moon and the blood moon, you will be blessed and no longer be plagued by the curse.”

After thoroughly digesting the “Ancient Scholar” potion, Klein no longer needed to circumvent Mr. Door’s ravings by pulling people into the grey mist, but could directly use the “Angel’s Embrace” to solve the problem, the only thing that needed to be worried about was Abel. The only thing that needs to be worried about is that there may be more people in the Abrahams family, who are too busy or not spiritual enough.

”…… Which is your Lord?” Dorian asked after a moment of silence.

Klein suppressed his shame and said solemnly:

  ”The great Mr. ‘Fool’.”

”‘The Fool’ …… You are of the House of Antigonus?” Dorian hallowed some associations.

Klein shook his head, dismissing the other man’s suspicions.

Dorian was silent again, but considering that he only had three minutes, he was busy asking again:

”Believing in the One will save us from the curse?”

As a member of an ancient family, he knew very well how dangerous it was to believe in an unknown being, and he was afraid that if he solved the ravings of Mr. Gate, he would be burdened with another curse.

  Klein answered frankly:

”This is only a temporary solution, I will find a better one for you.”

  Dorian nodded, grasping at straws:

”I will try to believe in your Lord and give you the recipe for the ‘Traveling Mage’ magic potion, and if this really solves the curse temporarily, we’ll then complete the deal for the ‘0’ level seals.”

He was going to use himself as the test subject to see if that solution worked, and wasn’t going to tell the other family members to wait for a better solution from Germaine Sparrow’s mouth until they couldn’t wait any longer.

”Good.” Klein took a pen and paper out of his shirt pocket and scribbled down the name “The Fool”.

Dorian also began to use his crystal ball to aid in his recollection, recording the “Traveling Mage” potion formula.

After the exchange, Klein directly turned his attention to the auxiliary materials and rituals:

”Auxiliary materials: one Worm of Star, one Worm of Time, one Worm of Spirit.

”Promotion Ritual: Leave a legend in nine places outside this planet.”
