Jasmin thought she should be afraid, but it was difficult to generate too many strong emotional swings in the face of the female officer in front of her, a feeling of unconscious settling of body and mind after a long cry.
”Okay, what do you guys want to ask?” She asked with a slight hesitation after glancing at her parents who had complicated expressions.
The lady with the superintendent’s rank pointed to the door of the room and said:
”Go inside.”
She did not ask Jasmin’s parents to recuse themselves, but simply ordered two of the police officers who had followed her to guard the door.
After casually closing the door to the room, she pulled a roughly made round stool over to her and sat down without a care in the world, looking relaxed.
It made Jasmin’s and her parents’ spirits instantly less tense.
”You may call me Ms. Grey.” The officer introduced herself and pointed to the other chair and the bed in the outer room, “Sit.”
Once everyone in the room had found a place to sit, Grey smiled at Jasmin:
”I received a report that something incomprehensible is happening around you, for example, the male desire for aggression is significantly higher than the normal level, which is not to say that there are no villains and criminals among them, but the percentage is too high, so high that it is strange.”
At this point, Grey’s gaze swept over Jasmin’s face:

”He said I was the first to experience it and could try it once for free, and then, then, I changed back to my original form and all my injuries healed.
”Officer, that’s what happened, you must believe me.”
After saying that, she glanced at Ms. Grey and her assistant, and looked at her parents, trying to get approval from them.
But the look on her parents’ faces was clearly saying:
”How is this possible?
”How can there be a machine that automatically grants other people’s wishes?
”How can there be a good thing that grants wishes for 1p?
”And it’s completely free for the first person to experience it!”
Grey and her assistant didn’t show any obvious change in expression, leaving Jasmin wondering whether they believed or not.
”Continue.” Grey saw her pause and nodded encouragingly.
Jasmin busied herself with describing the story of how she had gone home to get the coins and made the two wishes that her parents’ health would be restored to good health and that she would become beautiful, ending with:
”I did become so beautiful that even I couldn’t take my eyes off of myself, which made me feel a lot of goodwill, but then, the males around me gradually made me afraid ……
”Combined with the fact that my father and mother couldn’t recognize me and kicked me out of the house, I was scared, so scared that I went back there and made a third wish, well, the gentleman called Merlin Hermes said that the first one was a free wish and it didn’t count in the three, and in any case, I changed back to my original form, and then I met you guys.”
Hearing these words, Jasmin’s parents were instantly reminded of the beautiful “thief”.
Then they realized that they were indeed much healthier than before, their eyesight had been restored, their arms were strong enough, and nothing seemed the same.
They began to believe Jasmin’s description, but felt more and more fearful, because it was like an encounter with the devil, just like many folk legends.
Grey nodded softly:
