Episode 11 – Graveyard of the Gods Chapter 10 – Be Careful!
After many human powerhouses and magical beast powerhouses had entered the Graveyard of the Gods, the High Priest finally spoke.
“Lord Beirut?” The High Priestess looked towards Beirut. “What if that Bebe encounters the divine beast ‘Bar Serpent’?”
Beirut might not care if other people lived or died, but he would definitely care if Bebe lived or died, and in the Graveyard of Gods. Even Beirut couldn’t possibly save them, so of course the High Priestess wondered why Beirut dared to do so!
Beirut laughed, ”It’s fine. Bebe he won’t encounter the Ba’al Serpent because he took the right passage.”
“Lord Beirut. What do you mean?” Hisser’s face changed.
Beirut nodded with a faint smile, “When the passage was just opened, I had already checked through, that the Ba Snake was in the left area and below the fifth floor, so that’s why I let the Magical Beast Sanctuary enter through the right passage.”
The four of them, the High Priestess, the Martial God, Tierin, and Hisser, sighed in their hearts.
“Then Linley ……,” Hise whispered.
Beirut said blandly, “Let’s hope he’s willing to be nice. I can’t protect them all the time. This Graveyard of the Gods is also where they are willing to go in, well, let’s go and come back in ten years.” Beirut turned around and then flew directly towards the passage where he came from.
The High Priestess, Martial God, and the other four. Also immediately followed.
In the deep, black-lighted passageway, a group of human powerhouses advanced in order. The water in the deep sea couldn’t enter this passage at all, and Faun and Linley walked side by side.
“Linley. Remember. If you encounter any danger. The safest way is to retreat to the next level.” Faun imparted his experience, “There are tons of terrifying creatures or undead on every level here, but they’ll only stay on the level they’re on.”
Linley nodded slightly.
“Also, don’t release your soul power in the Graveyard of Gods.” Faun said seriously. “If soulforce skims over some creatures, they’ll realize your presence.”
“I know.” In a dangerous place like this, actively releasing soul force, wasn’t it telling the creatures and undead in this layer of their own existence? It was simply looking for death.
Linley wondered, “Faun. This Graveyard of the Gods was constructed, and there are various creatures on each level, so I always have the feeling that this was deliberately done by someone, wasn’t it? I have a feeling that this was done on purpose.” It was too strange, if the gods died, it should be more chaotic.
But now it seemed. Instead, it was in a giant graveyard.
“I heard from my teacher that that Lord Beirut mentioned to him that this Graveyard of Gods was actually just a game of the Lord God.” Faun laughed bitterly.
“The Lord God’s game?” Linley was stunned.
Instantly, Linley understood in his mind, “That Hodan said that there are billions and billions of god-level powerhouses in the Supreme Plane, but the main god of a certain lineage is the prescribed seven, and the main god, towering above the rest, sends his henchmen to build a graveyard for a bunch of gods from the land of the dead to come. Then intentionally let some Saint realm powerhouses or God-level powerhouses come in to find treasure.” Linley felt a wave of helplessness.
The Lord God was high above the world.
They, including the High Priestess, the God of Wushu, and these lower gods, were all just a small pawn in their game.
“Perhaps. The Lord God is still watching us fight for our lives in there with great interest.” Faun sighed.
Linley understood. The Lord God was high above. Watching them fight to the death. It was like being a child. A group of their own children looking at a group of ants on the ground.
His own group of people. Including the High Priestess, Martial God, and others. In the eyes of the Lord God, they were all ‘ants’. Perhaps even that seemingly powerful Beirut was just a relatively powerful ant in the eyes of the gods high above.
“But no matter what, the chances of capturing the Godhead here. It’s going to be much more earthy than the chance of going to the Supreme Plane to get the Godhead.” Faun took a deep breath and said.
Linley also took a deep breath.
Prepare to fight.
“Getting the Godhead, even if I don’t use it. It would be good to give it to Delia.” Linley felt pity for Delia, having left himself for ten years. Delia hadn’t complained a single word, such a wife who did everything for herself. It was also his own luck to be able to marry.
“Everyone, we’ve reached the end of the passage.” A cold middle-aged man with a turban on his head at the very front of the passage said aloud. “Going in further is the first level, remember. Don’t be too greedy. It doesn’t matter if you die yourself. Don’t drag others down.”
Finished speaking. This middle-aged man with a turban on his head walked out of the passageway.
This person was precisely one of the five great Saint Domain extreme powerhouses, the number one powerhouse of the Far East Prairie Land. Martial Saint ‘Suddenly Li Lei’.
Subsequently. One human Saint Realm powerhouse after another proceeded to enter it.
“I don’t know what’s on the first level, don’t meet that terrifying divine level magical beast ‘Ba Snake’ on the first level.” Linley looked at the end of the passageway glowing with black light. He directly took a step into it, and immediately, the sky spun around, and his surroundings changed drastically.
“Hohoho!” The wind howled and yellow sand filled the sky.
This was a barren and frightening desert world, and the yellow sand swept up by the gusts of wind made the sky and earth a blur. The heat wave even distorted the air.
“There are magical beasts there.” Linley clearly saw in the distance, a hideous magical beast with a triangular head hundreds of meters high roaring in rage, his scales all over his body glistening with a metallic luster, and there was some mucus on his razor-sharp fangs. “This magical beast. It looks like it should be very powerful.”
Linley was secretly terrified in his heart. Immediately, Linley directly Dragonblood Warrior transformed.
In this place. He didn’t dare take it lightly.
“Huh?” Linley suddenly realized that quite a bit of the yellow sand that had swirled up the ground had actually penetrated through the body of that ‘hideous demonic beast’. It was only a moment. That hideous demonic beast had actually directly disappeared.
“Phantom?” Linley somewhat understood.
Many Saint realm powerhouses came in to take a closer look before they quickly took flight in search of the passageway to the second level.
“Where’s Barker?” Linley, however, hadn’t found Barker, “This hellhole, yellow sand all over the place. Space is distorted. Phantoms all appear from time to time, can’t even see people anymore.” Linley cursed in his heart. Except for the few Saint realm powerhouses close to him he could see clearly. As for the Saint realm powerhouses elsewhere, they couldn’t be seen at all.
Linley no longer thought much about it. He also flew directly towards the front.
“Linley.” Suddenly, a person approached Linley.
As Linley looked, this person was none other than the fifth personal disciple of the Martial God Sect, ‘Edens’. Edens reminded, “Linley. Remember. Phantoms appear in this haunted place from time to time. It’s hard to tell the real from the fake. It’s most distracting. You don’t want to be in one place all the time, what you need to do is run all over the place. Find the passage to stand B sleep born into the second layer. If you are always on this floor. Just take your time and waste your time. There might be quite a bit of trouble finding you.”
After Edens finished speaking. Directly one person flew away at extreme speed.
The blazing air waves caused space to distort. Linley couldn’t see Edens’ silhouette for a moment.
“We can only follow what this Edens said.” Linley flew directly in all directions, searching for a passageway to the second level, where the most common plant in this desert world was the giant cactus. As for living beings, there was none to be found.
Linley flew in midair, scrutinizing everywhere in search of a passageway.
“Shoo!” A ray of light suddenly emerged from the yellow sandy ground below. It shot directly towards Linley. Linley’s dragon tail, which looked like it was cast in steel, swiped over like lightning. Only a ‘snapping’ sound could be heard. The light was directly shattered.
Immediately after, six skeletons with diamond luster all over their bodies rushed out from the yellow sandy ground at great speed.
“Dragonman, you’d better obediently give us your corpse, and we’ll give you a pain in the ass.” One of those six Sanctuary Undead opened his mouth and said, the fire of flexibility still burning in those eyes as those six Sanctuary Skeletons surrounded Linley. There were weapons in each of their hands.
Linley glanced at these six Saint Realm Undead.
“Draconians?” Linley glanced at these six Sanctuary Undead. “You guys think I’m ……,” Linley said just halfway through his sentence, and the ground or bone scimitars or bone lances in the hands of these six Sanctuary Undead all stabbed at Linley at the same time.
The air emitted a shrill whistling sound, the power of the six Saint realm undead joining forces was not to be underestimated.
Suddenly countless purple sword shadows rose into the air. Only a metallic clash could be heard, and the six Saint Realm Undead were sent flying back.
“Huh? Surprisingly, they didn’t die.” Linley realized that these six Saint realm skeletons only had some cracks on the surface of their bodies, but hadn’t collapsed, and that although this Windstorm Movement was extremely fast and attacked an extremely large number of times. However, the pure attack power was not strong.
Demonic purple light lit up again.
Six holy domain skeletons without the slightest hesitation. Whistling, they directly surged towards the yellow sandy ground below.
“Puff!” “Puff!” “Puff!”
Three Saint Realm Skeletons were directly chopped into two, while the other three Saint Realm Skeletons dodged into the depths of the yellow sand.
“Fleeing the ground quite quickly.” Linley flew away at breakneck speed.
The three Sanctuary Skeletons that had broken in two waited for Linley to leave. They immediately grabbed the other half of their broken bodies. For the undead. As long as the soul fire was fine. They wouldn’t die, and they were perfectly capable of making the broken bodies connect again.
“Snort-” Only several Saint Realm Skeletons scurried out and surrounded those three severely injured Saint Realm Skeletons, and finally divided and devoured the soul flames of these three Saint Realm Undead.
“That Dragon Man, so terrifying.” One of the Saint Realm Skeletons tilted its head and looked into the distance. “I don’t know when we’ll be able to collect enough corpses.” These Saint Realm Skeletons whirled around and also scurried directly into the yellow sandy ground.
It was just as Linley had expected. As long as the divine beast ‘Bar Serpent’ wasn’t on this first level, then this first level was the least dangerous level in the Graveyard of the Gods, and after Linley had resolved a few of the Saint Realm Skeletons who were attempting to kill him, he finally searched for the path to the second level. He finally searched for the ladder that led to the second level.
He climbed the ladder.
The second level of the Graveyard of the Gods. It was a jungle world, with dense foliage, thorns, and so on, making it difficult to see if there were any dangers in this place.
“There are no illusions in this place. But we have to be careful of sneak attacks as well.” Linley’s body surface Dou Qi also formed a ‘pulsating defense’, and then holding the purple-blooded soft sword, he advanced at breakneck speed through this jungle world. Suddenly Linley stopped and looked into the distance.
A human Saint realm powerhouse appeared not far away.
“It’s him?” Linley let out a secret sigh of relief. There were quite a few of those human Saint realm powerhouses that he didn’t know the names of, but Linley had memorized what others looked like.
Linley flew, but the trees of this jungle world land were high up to the top of this second level, dense, and completely blocking the line of sight.
Linley didn’t notice that a small green snake as long as his index finger was curled up in the leaves, its body color matching the color of the leaves. With Linley’s flying speed, it was impossible to detect it. However, this little green snake’s eyes were eerily cold, staring straight down at Linley, who was flying by at breakneck speed.
“Whoosh!”
Like lightning, the finger-long green snake shot directly towards Linley, and immediately bit down on Linley’s neck.
“En?” Linley’s face changed. His own Earth Pulse Defense had actually been pierced through seventy percent in an instant. The sheer force of its attack. It was simply too terrifying. If a weakly powerful person encountered this little green snake, I’m afraid they would have to perish.
The green snake did not hesitate. It immediately fled for its life.
“Swoosh!” Demonic purple light swept past. Space was sometimes stagnant and slow, sometimes creating overlapping shadows. Amidst the screams of the little green snake, the purple-blooded soft sword directly cleaved through the body of this little green snake.
Wind Upanishad – Wind’s Rhythm Second Level!
“Splat!” The little green snake directly snapped into two pieces. After breaking, these two bodies drastically grew in size, instantly turning into two sections that were both a hundred meters long. The green snake was as thick as a bucket. The bodies of this green serpent landed directly below.
Linley took a deep breath, “Of the Saint realm serpent magical beasts, the Yulan continent doesn’t have this type yet.” Linley glanced at the corpse below, “Luckily, thanks to the transformation, my Dou Qi has increased a lot, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to resist this.”
Linley also understood at this moment. Why both Beirut. Or Faun all said. Be careful.
“Someone?” Linley suddenly turned his head to look.
Only to see a burly three-meter-tall monster flying at breakneck speed, but Linley smiled, it was none other than Barker after transforming into an undead warrior.
“Lord Linley.” Barker flew over.
“I just saw you from a distance on the first level. But then I flew over. I couldn’t find you.” Barker flew over to Linley and said helplessly.
