Episode 12: The Descent of the Gods Chapter 29: Distribution of Godheads
The night, it was very late.
There was a group of people at the Dragonblood Castle who couldn’t sleep, however, when Linley set off to fight the Grand Sorcerer to the death. Taylor, Gates and the others didn’t know about it. Only Walden and Sessler knew about it, but when Linley left, Walden and Sessler told everyone about it.
Sessler thought clearly.
If Linley couldn’t come back. He still had to tell Taylor and the others about this.
If Linley managed to come back, it would be a great joy, and it was important for everyone to be happy together.
No matter what, it was better to let everyone know.
The candlelight was lit in the hall of the Dragonblood Castle grounds, and a large group of people had gathered here. When it was known from Sessler and Walden. Linley was going to fight a God-level powerhouse to the death. They were all stunned. Now all they could do was wait here anxiously.
Suddenly footsteps sounded.
“Mother, why have you come out of the gate?” Taylor, who had been thinking about Linley’s duel with a God-level powerhouse, glanced over. Upon discovering the visitor. He couldn’t help but speak in surprise.
“You’re all here.”
Delia tried to squeeze out a smile.
Originally, Delia was prepared to wait patiently in the miniature dimensional chamber, but Delia realized that she couldn’t keep still, her heart constantly worried. Solely. She had come straight out of the gate, and she was going to wait for Linley to return here at the Dragonblood Castle.
“Everyone knows?” Delia looked around the crowd.
Wharton, Nina, Gates, the five Barker brothers and their earthly wives and children, Taylor and the others, Hillman, the housekeeper Hilly, and the others all nodded.
Delia nodded slightly.
The group was expectant and blessed as they all looked up at the endless night sky. Hoping to see the familiar figure.
“Don’t be in a hurry, everyone. There are thousands of miles of distance from here to the Grand Canyon, and it will take quite some time to fly back and forth alone.”
Walden said persuasively.
“It’s father!” A surprised voice rang out, and it was none other than Sasha who had been staring at the night sky.
At once, everyone looked at the night sky.
Sure enough. The silhouette wearing sky-blue robes appeared in midair and flew down, and Delia, Taylor, and Sasha excitedly rushed over first.
Looking at this large group of people, Linley’s heart also overflowed with happiness.
“Delia, Taylor, Sasha.”
Linley had a slight smile on his face, but instead, he was the calmest amongst the large group of people.
“Lord Linley. Did you kill that God-level powerhouse?” Gates exclaimed excitedly from the back. Walden, Sessler, and the others also looked towards Linley, and Delia was worried in her heart, worried that Linley had escaped back after losing a body.
“Of course.”
Linley grinned.
Immediately, a large group of people had smiles on their faces.
“Great.”
Taylor was thrilled beyond belief. “My father, he’s killed a God-level powerhouse, so don’t sleep tonight, everyone. I’ll immediately arrange for people to prepare fine wine and food. Let’s have a good night of revelry today.”
“Right. Carnival!” Gates also shouted.
The group of people were incredibly excited.
“Carnival!” Linley nodded with a smile as well. Stoic as he was, he was also incomparably happy at this moment. Before the battle Linley’s heart was also apprehensive, and now not only was he unharmed in the slightest, he had also allowed Yale to restore himself. Of course Linley’s heart was overjoyed.
Tonight, the Dragon’s Blood Castle. The night was unprecedentedly bustling.
Until dawn, all the people gradually dispersed. Only then did everyone gradually disperse. Linley and Delia had left Sessler behind.
In a living room in Dragonblood Castle, Sessler looked at Linley and Delia. He had some premonitions in the back of his mind as to what Linley was going to do by leaving him behind. In the bottom of his heart, he had some premonitions. Because he had long since surmised that that god-ranked powerhouse was a powerhouse who practiced the Rule of Death.
Linley had killed that great sorcerer. There would definitely be some items that he would obtain, and there were some items that no one else could use.
“Lord Linley?” Sessler had a smile on his face, only Sessler’s own appearance was too appalling. Even a smile was alarming. “You’re leaving me behind are?” Linley directly threw a spatial ring over.
“Sessler. This spatial ring is used by god-level powerhouses. It should be much better than the one you have, so drop your blood and recognize it. Take out all the things in it as well.”
Linley trusted Sessler, in fact, if Sessler deliberately didn’t take out some of the things in it, Linley wouldn’t know about it.
“Yes.”
Sessler received the space ring with some trembling.
The space ring he didn’t care about. But some of the things in the land of God-level powerhouses were coveted by him. After dropping blood to recognize the owner.
Sessler waved his hand. He took out a large pile of things from the space ring. It almost filled half of the living room. Most of them were plants, bottles and jars of ground, there were also some ores, etc. Sessler’s eyes lit up as he looked at many of these items.
“Soul gold beads?” Linley saw a golden bead stored in a transparent bottle. He could feel the rich soul aura within it.
Through the disk dragon ring. Linley directly put this soul gold bead into the disk dragon ring. In fact, those soul essences formed into a golden liquid, Linley was afraid that he had only absorbed about one percent of it, and to finish absorbing it. Linley estimated that it would take half a year.
But Linley clearly felt the benefits of a stronger soul.
“Lord Linley, many of the materials here are very precious. They’re also very beneficial to me. But these two divine artifacts. They should be for warrior lands.”
Sessler pointed at the two divine artifacts that had been taken out.
Linley couldn’t help but smile.
That great sorcerer didn’t just have a black scythe, he actually had two divine artifacts.
“Sessler. Do you want to become a god?” Linley looked at Sessler with a smirk. Delia, who sat beside Linley, similarly looked at Sessler with a smiling face.
Sessler froze.
“Becoming a god?” Sessler was somewhat bewildered, becoming a god. Who didn’t want to? Smart as he was. Hearing Linley’s words, he understood what Linley was up to. However, Sessler was still a bit incredulous, the importance of the Godhead. Sessler was also very clear. Even Dylin was grateful to Linley for gifting him a Godhead in the first place. He was so grateful.
A Godhead. That was like creating a god.
“Don’t you want to?” Linley asked rhetorically. “You don’t want to. Then forget it.”
“Want to. Of course I want to.”
Sessler said evenly.
“Haha ……”
Linley looked at Sessler’s expression at this moment. He burst out laughing. Delia didn’t laugh at the side, “Delia, stop joking about Sessler, what about that Death Attribute Godhead? Give it to Sessler.”
“It’s that God-ranked powerhouse’s divine lattice, go refine it properly.”
With a flip of his hand, Linley took out that Great Sorcerer’s Earthly Godge and threw it directly to Sessler.
Watching the divine lattice being thrown flying over. Sessler felt his entire body floating lightly. It was as if he was walking on clouds.
This was the Godhead. If he refined it, he could be a god! Sessler couldn’t help but gulp his dry throat, and tremblingly stretched out his hands to catch this God’s frame, Sessler felt that the God’s frame in his hands seemed to weigh billions of pounds. His hands couldn’t help but tremble.
“Lord Linley, thank you, thank you.”
Sessler was extremely grateful.
Before he had met Linley. He was still a rank nine Undead Magus. Eventually reaching the Holy Realm.
However, Sessler was well aware that his own qualifications had taken over eight hundred years to reach the Holy Realm. To reach the Divine Realm, he was afraid that it would take ten thousand years.
Who would have thought. Without experiencing any difficulties, a Godhead arrived in front of him.
“Don’t say so many thanks. But Sessler. You have to work a little harder, your comprehension of the Law Grounds is stronger than Barker’s, and Barker started refining the God Sigil before you, I’d like to see, you two. Who will be our Dragonblood Castle’s third God-level powerhouse.”
Linley said with a smile.
There was no doubt that the second God-level powerhouse of Dragonblood Castle should be Delia. After all, Delia had refined most of her Godhead.
“Don’t worry, Lord Linley, I’ll definitely work hard.”
Passion reignited in Sessler’s heart! The goal of countless earthly powerhouses on the continent, including a large number of Saint Realm powerhouses. It was to become a god.
With that, Linley allowed Sessler to retire first.
“Linley. In a few decades, our Dragonblood Castle is going to have five God-level powerhouses.”
Delia said with a smile. Linley, Delia, Sessler, Barker, and Bebe, who was about to reach adulthood, “Five.”
Delia lamented as well.
“I wonder why.”
Linley frowned. “Delia, I always feel a hint of apprehension. The current Earthly Yulan Continent is like a muddy lake. What’s in it is anyone’s guess, and it’s impossible to deduce. What strong people will emerge from inside.”
“En.”
Delia nodded slightly.
This great sorcerer came out of nowhere. There was also that mysterious religion that believed in the earthly deity ‘Muba’. This was only what Linley knew, many Saint Realm powerhouses had already popped up in the Yulan Continent in the past few years, all unheard of in the past.
Who knew. Who knew when a Mediate God would emerge.
Even if Linley and the others had a numerical advantage. But it was useless to have a large gap in strength.
“Linley, how about. Let someone use that Wind Attribute Godhead as well.”
Delia said, “Desiree and the others haven’t come looking for you these past few years. I don’t think they’ll be looking for you for a godhood anymore either.”
In Linley’s hands today. There was still one wind-attribute divine lattice that hadn’t been used.
A divine lattice. It took decades of effort to achieve a god out of it.
“Wind-attribute divine lattice?” Linley mused for a moment. “There’s no rush. We don’t lack this one God-level powerhouse either.”
After this battle, Linley’s life returned to tranquility. The divine doppelganger cultivated the ‘Speed Upanishad’ wholeheartedly. Nowadays, Linley’s ‘Speed Upanishad’ had only reached a certain stage, and was still far from being a great success.
After all, the Speed Upanishad was a great accomplishment. After all, the Speed Upanishad had only reached a certain stage, and was still far from being fully accomplished. Achieving the ‘Speed Upanishad’.
At that point. Linley would have stepped into the Middle God realm.
“At this speed. Who knows how long it will take. A thousand years. Ten thousand years?” Linley himself had no idea. The more he cultivated, the more he felt the vastness of the Speed Upanishad. The complexity was immense.
At the same time. Linley’s original body was also concentrating on cultivating the ‘Earth Upanishad’.
Linley’s original self was absorbing soul essence because of it. The soul continued to grow, and in just three months, only half of those soul essence golden liquids had been absorbed, and the size of Linley’s own earth sword-shaped soul had grown by an entire size, and the soul essence was nearly six times stronger by as much as six times, a soul six times stronger. This was simply too appalling.
In fact, it was the Great Sorcerer who had absorbed the 20 million soul essences. The soul could also grow several times. Coupled with the fact that the Great Sorcerer’s own soul was much more powerful than Linley’s, it was normal for Linley to advance so quickly.
The most notable benefit of soul growth was the speed at which one could perceive the laws and deduce them. The speed of perception and deduction! Reaching the Divine Realm from the Holy Realm. Linley’s soul had also been tainted with a trace of the laws of heaven and earth, and the essence had changed a little, and the speed of deduction had increased greatly. Now that his soul was six times stronger, his deduction speed was much faster than in the past when he was in the Saint realm. It was nearly a hundred times faster than when he had been in the Holy Realm in the past.
Moreover, Linley was still absorbing soul evolution, and this deduction speed was still increasing.
In the past, it would take eight years to break through a layer, but now, in just three months, Linley had broken through from the 64th level of Earth Pulsation to the ’32nd level of Earth Pulsation’, but after reaching the 32nd level of Earth Pulsation, Linley clearly found that the difficulty of deduction had risen abruptly.
“At this rate, I’m afraid it’ll take over a year to break through to the 16th Earth Pulsation Heavy, then. What about breaking through to the Earth Pulsation 8th gravity?” Linley was also somewhat shocked. Shocked.
This Earth Pulsation, the further back the difficulty increased too high, from 256 weights to 128 weights. And then to 64 weights. The difficulty increase wasn’t too great, but the further back the difficulty that was raised by leaps and bounds. In fact. This earth pulsation was one of the more profound earth laws. To fully comprehend it in the Holy Realm was very difficult.
It was also fortunate that Linley’s soul had been upgraded and he had absorbed a large amount of soul essence.
