Nearly a month had also passed since reaching second grade magician.

Inside the first year classroom of the wind department.

While Linley only occasionally went to the Earth Department’s classes once a month, Linley attended every class in the Wind Department’s classes, and today Linley sat in his usual spot as usual.

“Linley, you’re here.”

Linley had just sat down when a very cute young girl sat down next to Linley.

Linley glanced at the young girl and said with a smile, “Delia, you’ve come quite early, it’s still quite a while before class starts.”

Sitting with a beautiful young girl was indeed a rather enjoyable thing to do, and Linley wouldn’t refuse.

This Delia was no ordinary character.

Her older brother – Dixie – was now the first genius of the entire Ernst Academy, known as a magical genius that was rare to see in a hundred years. It was the same one who was also a dual-system magician and whose elemental affinity was superlative. The super genius character whose mental strength was 68 times that of his peers.

This Delia, for Dixie’s sister, wasn’t too far behind.

“I know you came early.”

Delia’s eyes narrowed as she smiled.

The two of them were in the middle of chatting, but time flew by, and before the two of them could feel it too much, the class had already started. Teacher Tetra was passionately narrating from above, and Linley was listening carefully from below. Delia, on the other hand, was peeking at Linley two or three times from time to time.

“Alright, today’s lesson ends here, but before class is over, there’s one thing I’d like to tell you all.”

Teacher Trey said with a smile.

The students below immediately whispered.

“Older students should all know that our Ernst Academy has a rule that every last month or two of the year is to hold a ‘grade competition’. Every year, the ‘Grade Match’ is also the most lively time for our entire academy, and a victory in the Grade Match will also make it easier to be recognized as an outstanding cadet during graduation. When it’s time to graduate, it’s expected that the four great empires will invite you all graciously.”

Teacher Trey laughed.

The cadets below immediately became excited.

In the Ernst Academy, geniuses were gathered. And geniuses all had a bad habit of being hard to convince!

That’s why the annual grade competition became a chance for the geniuses to make a name for themselves. Almost more than ninety percent of the cadets would pay attention to this grade competition, and those with a bit of strength would go to compete.

“It’s only natural that our Wind Department’s will also go to battle, those willing to sign up come and talk to me.”

Teacher Tetra said with a smile, but his gaze glanced towards Linley here.

“Teacher, I’m willing.”

Many of the students below immediately began to sign up excitedly.

“Good.”

Trey immediately took out paper and a quill pen and began to record them, but after he had recorded a dozen or so trainees, he realized that the two of them below, Linley and Delia, were in the middle of a conversation and didn’t have the slightest intention of coming up to enroll.

Trey walked down.

Linley couldn’t help but look up and immediately shouted respectfully, “Teacher Trey.”

Delia beside him also bowed respectfully.

Teacher Trey smiled and nodded, “Linley, this grade competition is a great opportunity to exercise, I believe that almost all of the elites in the entire first year will participate, why don’t you sign up? Such an opportunity is rare.”

“I’m not interested.”

Linley said directly.

Teacher Trey couldn’t help but be stunned.

“Linley, you don’t know that there are some rewards if you win this grade level competition.”

Teacher Tetra seduced again.

“Rewards?”

Linley was in desperate need of money.

The financial situation in his own family wasn’t very good, so if he could obtain a sum of money on his own, it wouldn’t be too much of a problem for him to go and participate in this whatever grade level tournament.

“Right, you should know that the average trainee lives in an ordinary dormitory, our kind of single-door courtyard. And the top three in every grade competition are qualified to live in a two-story apartment for a year. That’s a status symbol, and it’s much more comfortable in the apartment.”

Teacher Trey continued.

It dawned on Linley in his heart.

There weren’t many small two-story apartments in the entire lodging area, and most of them were inhabited by powerful magicians such as rank seven magicians and rank eight magicians. Now it sounded. It turned out that for the six grades, the top three in each grade were qualified to stay for a year.

Accommodation?

Linley didn’t care about that at all.

“I’m not participating.”

Linley still said.

Teacher Trey was a little anxious, in reality, he, Trey, was also a sixth grade cadet, and if he was able to get his students to be the top three, not only would he receive a reward, but it would also be very humiliating. Young people, they were all good with face.

Teacher Trey approached Linley and whispered, ”Linley, are you worried about your strength leaking out? I do know that you’ve already reached second level magician.”

Hearing this, Linley couldn’t help but look up at Teacher Tetra in surprise.

How did Teacher Tetra know about his strength? After all, it was difficult to judge a person’s strength from their appearance alone.

Seeing this expression on Linley’s face, Teacher Tetra thought that he’d been caught in his own words and said with a smile, “Linley, don’t hide your strength if you have it, even if you don’t go to the tournament to deliberately hide your strength, beware that I’ll leak your secrets as well.”

“Whatever, I’m not participating anyway.”

Linley stood up full of concern, then respectfully saluted, “Goodbye teacher.”

And then, ignoring Teacher Trey’s stunned expression, he directly floated away.

“Hey, this kid.”

Teacher Tere couldn’t help but laugh as he reacted, and at this moment, Delia next to him was still covering her mouth and snickering.

The wind department course had ended at more than six o’clock in the evening, the sky was about to get dark, Linley ran towards his dormitory, the four brothers in dormitory 1987 had a very good relationship, and usually went out to dinner together in the evening.

“Linley, back.”

A curly-haired teenager in Dormitory 1986 greeted Linley warmly.

“Harry, have you had dinner yet?”

Linley responded with a smile as well.

Linley still had a pretty good relationship with the trainees in the several surrounding courtyards, Harry nodded with a smile and said, “Of course I’ve eaten, the three brothers in your courtyard are waiting for you.”

“Linley’s back, let’s go, let’s all eat.”

Yale’s voice rang out.

Obviously Yale had heard Linley’s voice in the courtyard, and Yale, Reynolds, and George all walked over and greeted Linley before the four brothers headed towards the dining room. There were also luxury hotels within the Ernst Academy, that Yale was persuaded by Linley, George and the others, and didn’t really go to big hotels anymore.

In the small restaurant, the dishes were very affordable and the food was comforting.

Ordering some dishes, the four brothers talked again.

For the various activities within the academy, Linley had mostly heard about them from the mouths of his three brothers, otherwise Linley, who always practiced hard at the back of the academy, would probably be in two minds about the internal news of the academy.

“Hey, there’s still over a month left before the first year ends. Every year, in the last month or two, the entire academy has to have a grade ring competition. The top three in each grade get to stay in that little two-story apartment for a year.”

Yale said as he opened his mouth.

“Age ring competition?”

Linley laughed, he had only just gotten the news himself within the classroom.

“Haha, I’m definitely going to participate.”

Reno said confidently.

Yale bristled, “Your brat became a level one magician during the journey from the O’Brien Empire to the Ernst Academy. By now, I guess it’s not far from being a second level magician. This is really unfair.”

It took Reynolds a year of effort to travel from his home to the academy.

On this journey in the carriage, Reno had learned magic under the steward’s tutelage, and in this year of rushing Reno had become a first level magician.

George, on the other hand, looked at Linley with a smile, “Hey, don’t forget about Linley, Linley was also a first level magician when he enrolled in school, and since he cultivates so crazily and is a dual system magician, I think that he should be the strongest in our dormitory.”

Linley grinned, “George, don’t flatter me.”

“Linley, have you reached second level magician now? Honestly?”

George stared at Linley.

“How could it be so fast? From beginner to first level magician, our qualifications might be fine for a year, but from first level to second level magician, at the very least two years, right?”

Reno said with a wrinkle of his nose at the side.

“That’s not necessarily true, I also see Linley as strangely mysterious.”

Yale also looked at Linley, “Linley, have you reached second level magician?”

Linley nodded casually.

What was so strange about reaching second level magician, he had already been a first level magician before the magic test and a year had passed since then, if he hadn’t reached second level magician by now, his own hard training would be too unworthy.

“You really reached it?”

Yale, Reynolds, and George all stared, they didn’t expect it to be true.

“Go to the grade competition, Linley, you must participate, go ravage them properly and fight for our Dormitory 1987.”

Yale said immediately.

This time the waiter also brought up the dishes.

“Eat, eat, I have little interest in the grade competition.”

Linley was too lazy to compete with those who were weak. That kind of academy ring battle was simply just showing off!

The three Yale people looked at each other.

They also knew that Linley practiced very hard, and although there were geniuses in the first year who had superb elemental affinity and mental strength, they weren’t as hardworking as Linley. Plus, Lin Lei was a dual lineage …… so in the back of their minds, they also thought that Lin Lei was probably the strongest one in the first year.

“It’s a shame you’re not participating, you’re going to let someone else take the limelight again in this yearbook tournament.”

Yale deflated, “It’s also because I’m not strong enough, if I had Linley’s strength, I would’ve already gone to show off. Seduce a few beautiful women at that time.”

Linley smiled, “Alright, eat, don’t think nonsense.”

Linley didn’t care at all about the grade competition. However, the vast majority of people in the academy were still very enthusiastic about the grade wars, not only the cadets, but even some of the Enchantresses of Ernst Academy were also very concerned about this event.
