Chapter 456: The Higher Power
The next morning, after Masayoshi Kishimoto arrived at the company, he sat on top of the president’s throne in his office and dazed. He was indeed dawdling, not meditating.
Kazuya Takahashi, who had little to do in recent times, did not need to pretend that he was busy, nor did he need to be afraid that his bosses would add to his workload.
He walked out of the Legal Affairs Department’s office and took the initiative to find Masayoshi Kishimoto. He sat down on his butt on top of the sofa closest to the other man.
Takahashi Kazuya leaned his back against the back of the chair, crossed his legs, and laughed calmly, “I thought I was the only one who was bored, but I didn’t think that you were even more bored than me.”
Masayoshi Kishimoto came back to his senses and said, “I’m not as boring as you.”
“Then what are you thinking about?” Takahashi Kazuya didn’t have anything serious to talk to him about, so he directly started the idle chat mode and said.
“I’m thinking about the twenty-three districts of the Tokyo Metropolis, so shouldn’t I just keep a woman on top of each one?” Masayoshi Kishimoto joked.
“It’s useless for you to discuss this one thing with me. You should discuss it with Rie properly.” Takahashi Kazuya laughed more and more happily and said.
“Good point. Are you just dying to see my backyard on fire?” Masayoshi Kishimoto blurted out.
“No matter. Twenty-three districts means twenty-three women, can your body take it? Are you planning on going to different women’s places Monday through Friday for an extra shift?
As for Saturday and Sunday, you’ll be on vacation at home to rest and recuperate. At that time, you’ll have to take all kinds of aphrodisiac supplements.” Takahashi Kazuya was already joyfully up and said.
“Hehehe …… laugh my ass off.” Kishimoto Masayoshi dryly laughed a bit and then boarded up his face and said.
“No more laughing, no more laughing.” Kazuya Takahashi said as he tried to become calm.
“Do you have nothing to do?” Justice Kishimoto said bluntly.
“Do, do you expect me to be busy every day? It wouldn’t really be a good thing if our legal department was busy every day.” Kazuya Takahashi said without joking.
Masayoshi Kishimoto knew that he was telling the truth with this statement saying, “Then you’ll be idle! What a contradiction. It’s good for you to be idle, but how does it make you feel like you’re getting paid for nothing?”
“Then you make something out of it for me! That way, you’ll be balanced in your heart.” Takahashi Kazuya began to be unorthodox again and said.
“Let’s talk it over, either you take a pay cut or you get another thing on the side to do?” Masayoshi Kishimoto suddenly became playful and said.
“Capitalists really are all vampires. That’s your true colors.” Takahashi Kazuya calmly said.
“Although I’m a capitalist, I’m even more of an investor. Extracting surplus value from laborers, that’s the viewpoint of Marx’s Capitalism.
My point of view is to place bets on players with great potential, it’s so that they can win the tournament, thus giving me an excess rate of return.
Besides, you can’t think like that! Young man, you should think of it differently, and live each day as if it were the last day of your life.
You work your ass off, that’s what makes life full of value and meaning.” Masayoshi Kishimoto feigned a serious expression and said.
“Then won’t you be able to buy your next private jet by the end of the year?” Kazuya Takahashi joked.
“Instead of talking about material things between us, we should talk about dreams. I joined an underground group of writers who didn’t make a debut by hiding my identity.
One by one, even if they weren’t rich above material things, it didn’t stop them from following their dreams. In the eyes of the world, they looked ridiculous.
Or maybe it’s a case of eating a 500-dollar lunchbox and worrying about things you shouldn’t be worrying about. However, in my opinion, they are all full of dreams.
Whether or not their dreams are realized is another matter. What’s the point of pursuing a dream if it’s a success or a failure? Without dreams, what’s the difference between a man and a salted fish?
Now, you see that I am very rich. In fact, I am just taking charge of this money on your behalf.” Masayoshi Kishimoto didn’t mean to snub him, it was all taken as a joke between friends.
He also knew that such words would not be able to fool a talented person like the other party, who possessed the ability to think independently and also had legal expertise.
“Hear you say so, you are very hard. Why don’t we switch places and let me take charge of such a large amount of money for you?” Takahashi Kazuya laughed again and said.
“Why not? Come, sit with me.” Masayoshi Kishimoto took the initiative to stand up and give up his seat.
Immediately, Takahashi Kazuya stood up and walked around the desk to the president’s throne where he was able to turn around and sit down.
“How do you feel?” Masayoshi Kishimoto asked in a cloudy voice.
“Wonderful.” Kazuya Takahashi said with an exaggerated expression of great satisfaction.
Masayoshi Kishimoto circled out of his desk and sat down on top of the seat he had first taken, “Don’t you feel like you’re on pins and needles?”
“Not at all. I only felt that I was sitting on a throne, and I had a feeling that I was the king of the world.” Kazuya Takahashi said with considerable enjoyment.
“Why do I feel a sense of being alone?” Masayoshi Kishimoto offered his own feelings that were different from his.
“That’s because you’ve been sitting for a long time.” Kazuya Takahashi said meaningfully.
“Perhaps, there is such a factor in it. It seems to me that you’re getting away with more, comfort and coziness in your day to day life than I am.” Masayoshi Kishimoto did not deny it.
After Takahashi Kazuya had had his fill, he took the initiative to stand up and said, “This is not really a suitable position for me to sit down for a long time.
You also know that I am a person. I like to dig into the freshness of real life that I haven’t experienced before.”
“You’re really not going to sit down?” Justice Kishimoto said without getting up.
“Didn’t you say earlier that there would be a feeling of sitting on pins and needles, so I’m still sitting? I don’t like the feeling of being pinned in the ass.” Kazuya Takahashi said in a double entendre.
“As much as I like it when you say it.” Masayoshi Kishimoto snapped.
“Those who can do more. You’re the superior one, so it stands to reason that you should shoulder more. As for me, that’s doing a good job assisting you.” Kazuya Takahashi said in a serious manner.
“If there is a suitable candidate, I am also willing to step aside. In life, one doesn’t necessarily have to go to the peak of life and marry a rich white woman.
Or waking up to hold the power of the world and lying drunk on the knees of a beautiful woman. Living one’s own little life every day is also a great happiness.” Masayoshi Kishimoto suddenly lamented.
Takahashi Kazuya did not take his words seriously at all. If the other party really had the patience to live a dull life, he wouldn’t have founded the Hard Gold Group.
In his heart, he thought, “Give way, say so. When that day really came, the person who succeeded the throne would only be his own biological son who was a young man.
