Chapter 341 – Gandhi is a Traitor
As a framer, Alan Wilson thought he had done all he could. And of course it couldn’t have been done without the full support of the British Indian civil service, a big warm family.
Allowing the situation in British India to take a tiny, but definitely favorable turn in the British Empire. Every day of social stability, British India will create a day of wealth for the British Empire.
But by now? It was also time to return to the tradition of divide and conquer that governed British India. On the premise that British India’s independence had become a foregone conclusion, what was wrong with muddying the waters and creating some conflicts.
What is wrong with exploiting contradictions when they already exist? Accusing the British Empire of utilizing contradictions to defend the rule of British India, Alan Wilson honestly just can’t eat grapes to say grapes are sour, no matter accusing the British state, how righteous to say, but in reality it is so.
What anti-colonial ah, anti-imperialist and anti-feudal! And then didn’t look at what the countries that stood in solidarity with the Indians actually did for India. Of course, they are justified in accusing others, but they can’t stand it when it’s their turn.
But this is how the world is supposed to be, India can’t do it, the British Empire does it, very well ……
War and turmoil and other conflicts are now the basic embodiment of the international community, peace and development, although still recognized by all countries, but when the big crises appear, all countries still put their own security and interests in the first place, so much so that the entire international community has closed its own part of the external and internal sense of fairness of speech for a variety of reasons.
The Indians also know that the family scandal should not be publicized, but at the crossroads of British India’s destiny for independence, Alan Wilson felt that there is nothing wrong with a little publicity, and what is wrong with maintaining transparency?
Nehru and Patel each have their own fans, supporters are not few, in fact, just take a walk to see for themselves, Indians are currently the Deputy Prime Minister of British India’s enthusiasm, all kinds of rallies, it becomes the best venue for such key politics.
Relying on the mediation that Gandhi has already made, among the political rallies, Patel and Nehru’s supporters are still stable, but how can anything be 100 percent true on such occasions? In a rally of this size, with tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people participating, it’s perfectly normal for a little something to happen.
This political rally, which originated in Mumbai, is no longer something that must be strictly prohibited in British India now. The local colonial establishment turned a blind eye to it.
No one knows when the clash began when a group of Patel supporters started their own supergodly journey, armed with machetes and chanting Patel’s name Sardar, a pun meaning leader, unleashed a bloody butchery on the enemy, Nehru’s supporters, at the rally.
The sudden butchery appeared and the unarmed Nehru supporters, became the victims of the knives and the entire neighborhood became a field of hell, but for the massive number of people attending the rally, this little bit of chaos wasn’t really a problem.
By the time the vast majority of those involved in the rally realized this, even greater chaos ensued, as the crowd pushed and trampled on each other, and the frenzied atmosphere created a huge mess.
It was only by this time that the colonial government in Bombay, realized that Nehru and Patel’s supporters, had caused the clash. It was only then that the government hastily played its part and went to the scene of the incident to calm it down.
The clash of supporters of the two candidates in Bombay, and the consequent tragedy, immediately reached New Delhi.
“Mr. Nehru, it seems that we still can’t agree on the distribution of Nepalese soldiers.” Alan Wilson shook his head with a bemused face, “With all due respect, the Nepalese battalion is an armed force of the British Empire just like the troops in India, and with the independence of India in the future, why should the Nepalese be owned by India? Does it make sense?”
In 1815, the British Army had its first fighting battalion of Gurkhas in its establishment. Since then, the tradition of Gurkhas serving in the British Army continues to this day.
There were 200,000 Gurkhas fighting for the British Empire in World War II, but of course there weren’t as many after the war. But there were more than two dozen fighting battalions, and does Britain need these mercenaries now?
Of course it needs them, and London has asked British India to try to get as many as possible, to send these mercenaries to Malaya, to prevent the Netherlands in the East Indies from threatening Malaya if they can’t hold out.
In fact, what Alan Wilson is doing now is the historical Kathmandu Agreement, but it is impossible for him to go to the Nepalese territory, so the Rana delegation, which had just left not long ago, came back.
In fact, for Nepalese mercenaries, Alan Wilson is not at all familiar with the role of these people at all. It was only because London let fight for it that he was here to fight for it.
The most familiar place on the history of Nepalese mercenaries is that Fukangan crossed the Tibetan Plateau once, and this mountainous country fought once, of course, limited by the logistical problems that exist even in the twenty-first century, and that war was just a good thing.
I don’t know how many times Alan Wilson had argued with Nehru, or Patel for that matter. Arguing with different Congress leaders in different areas is something he is now somewhat used to.
Nehru and Patel also had to be present at all times during the sensitive period of the transition of power; after all, there was still the position of Deputy Prime Minister of British India over there in London, fishing for the two men.
Just then, the Commissioner’s secretary, Edel, pushed his way in, holding a telegram, “Assistant Allen, Sir Barron asked me to give you this telegram, and it is up to you to decide whether or not to give it to Mr. Nehru.”
As soon as Nehru heard that it concerned him, he looked with concern, was it a letter of appointment for the Deputy Prime Minister of British India?
“Dear Mr. Nehru, this is something you really need to know.” With a saddened look and a tone of knowing nothing, Alan Wilson forwarded the telegram to Nehru about the emergence of the Bombay tragedy and the number of casualties caused.
“How can such a thing have occurred?” Nehru looked so sad that even he did not notice that he spoke with a hint of disappointment in his tone.
So it wasn’t the letter of appointment for the Deputy Prime Minister of British India? Alan Wilson raised an eyebrow, picked up his own cup of tea, and also took the time to glance at the hanging clock to see if it was time to go off duty.
Then Nehru took his leave, Allen Wilson came out to say goodbye, saying something, hoping that Nehru would give more consideration to the position of the British Empire, and reach a win-win agreement on the issue of Nepalese mercenaries.
As for the Bombay fiasco, it was an internal affair of the Indians, and it was inconvenient for him, as a colonial government of the British, to interfere. I believe the Congress Party will handle the issue well.
The Bombay tragedy signaled that on the premise of the British leaving the subcontinent, a round of undercurrents to receive the legacy of the British Empire had begun to surge, with everyone believing that he or she was the one who should be that beneficiary. If one does not qualify to be that beneficiary, the idea is to support those who have that ability and wait for the cake to be distributed.
“This Mumbai thing is shocking.” Ender was still sighing, “More than four hundred people were hacked to death, and a few thousand were killed or injured because of the stampede, it’s so shocking.”
Alan Wilson slanted a glance at Ender, thinking what’s so shocking, it’s just a bunch of Nepalese dressed up as Sikhs going on a killing spree at a rally.
Unsurprisingly, these platoons of Nepalese mercenaries who had urgently returned from Malaya to cause trouble should have left British India by now, and not long afterward, would appear on top of the Malayan list of the fallen.
The families of these fallen soldiers will receive a pension that would be absolutely obscene in the subcontinent. Isn’t this a good thing? Are Nepalis naturally attracted to soldiering? Isn’t it still about the money?
The Bombay tragedy has again temporarily kept Nehru and Patel busy, and equally busy is Gandhi. Nehru’s and Patel’s supporters were also in a frenzy, pointing fingers at each other and at the same time trying to bring the killers to justice.
The final thought was quite normal, Alan Wilson was in a hurry and had fulfilled their wish to bring the murderers to justice.
Gandhi has stepped in again to mediate between the two giants of the party, pointing out that it is important not to show a desire to fight for power at this time. This would only make a mockery of the quest for independence.
This comment immediately had the resident contributor to The Hindu criticizing it as a bloodbath created by some pacifists posing as Hindus and trying to make a profit out of it. And definitely not the intention of the Patel supporters.
In British India, the undecided push for Pacifism in the event of a disaster, especially for Patel supporters, is the narrative they believe in most, while The Hindu’s contributor is the widely respected Mr. Singh, discovering the valuable wealth of India’s history, and testifying to many of the valuable aspects of India’s civilization, including, but not limited to, the nuclear wars of antiquity ……
Eisinger found pacifists for Patel’s conservatives to target and averted an internal split in the Congress party, feeling that as a colonial official in a sovereign state, a pro-father would be no better.
So Alan Wilson activated another pen name, Jipal, to launch a rebuttal of Singh’s remarks and also said in a mocking tone, “Gandhi, in an internal meeting of the Congress party, expressed his desire to hand over the future of British India to the Arijana. Let the PMLN rule us ……”
This news appeared in the newspapers, and immediately it was the effect of a national outcry, and all Hindus did not expect that the leader whom they respected and loved so much had ever thought of betraying the interests of Hinduism.
For a time the verbal attacks on Gandhi, and the supporters who embraced Gandhi, overshadowed Nehru and Patel and the Bombay tragedy.
And the Congress leaders who attended the meeting that day were recalling who looked suspicious that day, and there was no doubt that “there was a traitor in our midst.”
It was an orgy of key politicians, the world was in turmoil the situation was great, Nehru, Patel, Gandhi, Ali Jinnah, the top flow of the subcontinent today were all together and public opinion had turned into a potpourri.
