At the critical moment, Alan Wilson put the amnesty order away and said to himself, “Your Majesty can of course issue the amnesty order, but you should know that the current government has also asked me to fight for some conditions, and when I say fight for it I actually mean to obtain your guarantees. So this amnesty order, I can announce it or not, I can announce it with conditions, and I can likewise delay the announcement. For example, I can start the repatriation mode first, and announce it after the destabilizing factors are pretty much cleared up.”

Chen Zhenlu, Lin Lianyu, and the rest of the group all had an undying look on their faces, and this reaction was taken in by Alan Wilson, who kindly opened his mouth, “Is it not the thought that the king of hell is good to see, but the little ghosts are difficult to deal with?”

The atmosphere of the commissioner’s office is a little bit awkward, Allen Wilson of course does not have to shake the colonizer’s might, in fact, he even if he does so, there is no problem, this is indeed a colony.

Everything is about a step-by-step approach, Alan Wilson first announced an amendment to the British Empire Overseas Colonies Regulations, there is only such a clause, the colonies in principle does not prohibit intermarriage between different ethnic groups, but the colonies in principle in accordance with the location of the man who intermarried with the right of abode.

In other words it means that the various ethnic groups in British Malaya can intermarry, but imperial subjects belonging to British Malaya who are married to someone from another colony have to travel to live in the man’s place of birth.

It’s actually sort of a variation of a similar apartheid system in South Africa and the United States, except that the current British Empire colonies are divided into two main parts, British Malaya, which guards the Straits of Malacca, and the larger colonies of British Africa.

This is a huge geographic divide, so even if a similar approach were taken, the manifestation would not be obvious.

British Malaya has been designated as a key colony for development, and will certainly see the entry of people including, but not limited to, blacks in the future. After all, it was only the importation of resources, and it was not realistic for one person not to come over. It was surely all a necessary price to pay for the colonization policy!

But the two major ethnic groups in British Malaya are both now described as conservative, with the Chinese thinking nothing like the 21st century. As for the Malays, they are a pacifist community, more conservative than ever.

And the blacks in Africa are not much of a crook, really if any chiefs or local elites came to British Malaya, in such a conservative environment, if they succeeded in cheating? Whether it is Chinese, Malay, have to get married, if you have to, you have to travel to British Africa to settle down.

Because Britain was a colonial empire, it might be able to cast a net over its immigration policy in order to bring in the elites of its former colonies.

In the midst of Whitehall’s discussions about this possibility, it was then enacted in the colonial administration regulations on interracial marriage, because it was less risky to enact such a policy, and Whitehall was allowed to do so.

And Whitehall could not have done so on British soil, because there was a parliament on the soil, and only very few of those politicians would have dared to object to a similar environment, all being afraid of being associated with racial discrimination.

The introduction of such regulations, is to prevent the future colonial immigrants flocked to the mainland, the benefits or the mainland to take, the risk may have to Malaya to bear, to play a kind of protection of the role of the mainland.

Of course this purpose Alan Wilson in front of these people do not need to know, as long as you understand the literal meaning on the line. On the surface this not only did not jeopardize British Malaya, and even play a protective role.

Opened this time the new regulations, Chen Zhenlu, Lin Lianyu feel nothing wrong, Allen Wilson continued, “the mainland on the construction of Malaya gives the plan to build four big cities in Malaya as a development center, respectively, Singapore, Penang, Malacca and Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur for the administrative center at the same time is also the capital.”

“Malacca and Penang serve as port cities on the Malay Peninsula, while Singapore will be merged with the Riau and Lingga Islands and the Natuna Islands, and as for Singapore, Singapore will serve as the core transit point for the future Malacca Strait. Development plans in the short term will focus on Singapore. Singapore will be established as an integrated transit point for port logistics, ocean calls, and fuel replenishment.”

After the Riau Islands and the Lingga and Natuna Islands are merged into Singapore, Singapore will cover an area of 8,000 square kilometers, but of course the three main archipelagos are mainly used as bases for the British Royal Navy.

The change of Singapore’s administrative district, and the change of Sabah’s administrative district were made at the same time, except that Singapore’s local Chinese population was predominant, while Sabah’s was not, and for this reason Alan Wilson told these Chinese leaders.

Of course both Singapore and Penang were the main settlement of Straits Chinese, and might not be to the liking of the traditional Chinese like Tan Zhenlu and Lim Lian Yoke, but that was none of his business as a commissioner.

“Lord Zhongtang, this amnesty?” Chen Zhenlu reminded in a low voice, all those words before were certainly good, but as the leader of the MCA, he was still more concerned about the amnesty.

“Mr. Chen take it easy, I’m not done yet, it’s coming soon.” Isn’t Alan Wilson slowly approaching his destination, explaining the cause of this incident and the bad effects, then said, “Regarding the definition of the entire Chinese community, the unanimous view of the Cabinet as well as Whitehall is that the entire Chinese community is an alien community similar to the citizens of Britain who settled in Malaya. Therefore, they are not regarded as Malayan natives and are not considered British Malayan citizens. But at this stage they can be considered as subjects of the British Empire overseas.”

The integration of the Chinese community into the self-professed homeland here would have been a tiny minority, with the proprietary name of Straits Chinese. As it happens, all the Chinese leaders here are traditional Chinese and new immigrants.

Alan Wilson also can’t invite the Straits Chinese leaders over, or the Straits Chinese can easily see that this generalization of the entire Chinese community will hurt the Straits Chinese.

After today’s talk, the Chinese, as the majority of the current Malayan population, will lose their last chance to integrate into Malaya.

British Malaya will also be divided into two parts for the administration of the domicile, one for the part of the imperial subjects, and the other part should be for the part of the indigenous Malay population.

The Straits Chinese possessed two characteristics, the first was that they did not want Britain to give up the colony, and the second was that the Straits Chinese were not like the traditional Chinese who were nostalgic for the motherland. The combination of these two conditions was that the Straits Chinese wanted Malaya to exist as a colony to go on.

Allen Wilson’s condition was either to admit not being native but outsiders. Or be repatriated now, there is no third way because his persona is to safeguard the rights and interests of the indigenous Malays.

At the same time most of the manufacturing industries were distributed to the Chinese and most of the land to the Malays. This condition if these Chinese leaders in front of him don’t recognize, he really doesn’t want to sink these uncooperative people into the sea, but sometimes people just might do things against their hearts.

Su Yang did not care, the new immigrants he represented, no more than five years of settlement in Malaya, did not put himself together with these natives at all, and spoke directly, “Mr. Zhongtang, as long as the people inside the prisons are released, these are not a problem.”

“Mr. Su, I appreciate you very much, worthy of being Newfoundland’s son-in-law. I believe that Newfoundland will be proud of you in the future.” Alan Wilson opened his mouth very appreciatively, what with the racial issues also figure a little fun.

Are the residents of Newfoundland as arrogant as the citizens of the British mainland? Not at all, but even the British native citizens, high bowler hats and civilized stick to see Ali Khan is the same, show a heartfelt respect.

“We also agree!” Chen Zhenlu and Lin Lianyu considered for a moment, the Chinese were after all the majority of new immigrants. And after this time, the prestige of Su Yang, Tian Qianqiu and the others would rise, and there was no way for the MCA to forcefully suppress them.

By now, the top management of the MCA already knew that the rise of Chinese workers who had traveled to Newfoundland was inevitable. And the administrator of Newfoundland in the first place had now come over to be the administrator of Malaya.

Alan Wilson would have been familiar with these Chinese workers, people a position, Chen Zhenlu, Lin Lianyu nothing to stop the way.

“Ah, that’s right, you guys originally had dual citizenship. It is not considered homeless!” Alan Wilson laughed out happily, just don’t know how long this dual citizenship will last.

“But then again, let me mention the current situation, in any case, Britain did not participate in the war on the peninsula. You have grudges against the Americans, don’t confront the British Empire. Especially in a place like the Malay Peninsula where the major cities are within range of the main guns of the battleships.”

“Don’t think I’m an alarmist, who knows if there’s anyone behind you people.” Alan Wilson raised his wrist and glanced at the time, muttering to himself, “It’s almost time, one hundred and eighty-four infiltrators will be beheaded today. I don’t know if there’s a Green Day Medal to take after the heads are sent back. When Alisa told me yesterday, it was very unexpected, I really didn’t expect it, there’s one island left and it’s still not stopping.”

Alan Wilson had said beheading, not stoning, so it certainly wasn’t the pacifist Malays who had been beheaded.

“If any of you are more inclined to Chang Kung, please bring a message that if you don’t want the battleships of the Royal Pacific Fleet to sail through, give up the practice of establishing influence among the Chinese communities in the colonies of the British Empire.”

“If you talk to me, I will talk to you calmly, and if there is an offshore force behind you for me to discover. We also follow the law.”

Alan Wilson, who had his back to the crowd, picked up the phone and said into the microphone, “Alan Wilson, High Commissioner of British Malaya, regarding the criminals in the incident of storming the POW camps, all of them will be released at eight o’clock tomorrow morning. Prepare an announcement broadcast two hours later to read out His Majesty’s pardon.”

While Allen Wilson was on the phone, the leaders of the MCA and the new immigrants behind him were signing the pledge at the same time, in black and white, which would have the force of law.

At six o’clock in the evening, Allen Wilson, who had already worked overtime for four hours, read King George VI’s special pardon, releasing all the criminals caught in the storming of the POW camp incident.
