…… Seeing the reaction of “Hell Admiral” Ludwig, Klein almost couldn’t believe his eyes, just like the surviving crew members of the “Black Tulip”.

  He originally envisioned two scenarios:

First, Ludwig invited the help of the demigods of the Spirit Order to ambush Germaine Sparrow and the strong man behind him. This is not impossible, the “Grim Reaper” pathway sequence 7 is called “psychic”, also has the ability to foresee the coming danger.

Secondly, the “Admiral of Hell” was unprepared and resisted, and Mr. Aztec was easily disposed of.

Klein’s plan in his heart was, if it was the first case, Mr. Aztec would deal with the demigod, and he himself would hunt the “Admiral of Hell” and get the second secret puppet; if it was the second case, he would implore Mr. Aztec to watch, and he himself would manipulate the secret puppet and fight with Ludwig one on one, and he would make use of the “creeping hunger” to hide in the middle of the battle. In the process, he will use the “writhing hunger” to hide in the shadows, as far as possible behind the scenes, in order to digest the “Master of Puppets” magic potion faster.

Who knows, “Hell Admiral” did not do anything to resist, directly prostrate on the ground, kissing the deck, as Aztecs most loyal and humble servants.

How can this still fight …… Klein slightly stared blankly at the front, not knowing whether to open his mouth to say something.

And the whole ship, too, was quiet.

Azk raised his hand and pressed the silk bowler hat on his head, and walked unhurriedly toward Ludwell, who was on his knees.

One step, two steps, three steps, he stopped in front of the “Hell Admiral” Ludwig, his voice low and spoke:

”How far has the Spirit Order’s Artificial Death program progressed?”

Ludwell’s forehead was pressed against the ground, and he answered hoarsely:

”The Artificial Reaper has been able to actively influence the High Sequencers who have failed to be promoted, but it is not yet able to answer prayers and rituals ……”

After describing this, he raised his upper body slightly and removed the square-shaped black sinking ring he wore in his right hand, cupping it in both hands and handing it forward.

Wordlessly, as if held up by an uncountable number of spirits, the ring flew up on its own and landed in Azik’s palm.

Azuk scrutinized it for a few seconds, twisted the ring up, and wore it to the index finger of his left hand.

Suddenly, a kind of horror deep unnameable high above the feeling from his body spread out, those or naked body or wearing tattered leather armor of the living corpse, skeletons have one knee down, buried low head, seems to only dare to look directly at his boots, flying ghosts, shadows are the same fall to the ground, tightly attached to the deck, and then there is no one floating in mid-air.

The rest of the pirates on the ship fell to the ground one by one, burying their faces in the deck, not daring to raise the slightest bit.

Klein stood at the other end, looking at Mr. Azik’s back and the scene that opened up out of thin air, opening his mouth but saying nothing.

Azik took two more steps forward to the side of the “Admiral of Hell,” then turned his body, facing Klein, and said to Ludwell:

”You will be his secret puppet for one year, and at the end of that time, you may return to the spirit world.”

These words, Azuk said plainly, as if it did not involve the life, death and future of the “Admiral of Hell”, or, to him, it was just a small matter, not needing to care about the feelings and thoughts of the person being ordered.

Ludwig’s body trembled violently, seemingly angry, seemingly reluctant, but ultimately did not look up, still pressed his forehead to the deck:

  ”Yes, Great Consul of Death.”

As soon as his words fell, mysterious symbols of pale and shadowy green rendering each other protruded out one after another, intertwining together to form an illusory bronze gate.

The bronze gate quickly shrunk and landed on the forehead of the “Admiral of Hell” and drilled into it.

Klein looked on in dismay and confusion, until Mr. Aztec nodded to him and pointed at the “Hell Admiral”, then he moved forward, entered the 10-meter range, and manipulated Ludwig’s Spirit Thread.

The pirate admiral tried several times to spring up his body and wave his arms, but failed to do so, and soon his thoughts became stagnant and he subconsciously struggled.

After a while, Ludwig “Hell’s Admiral” Ludwig, wearing a silver-white mask, rolled over and stood up, bowed his head, and retreated to the side of Klein, to the left and right of Enzo “The Winner”.

Aztec watched silently, and only at the end of the day did he speak slowly:

”In the ‘Reaper’ pathway, the Higher Powers have a strong hold on the Lower Powers.”

…… I can deduce that when I threw out your copper whistle, the “Hell Admiral” who is Sequence 5 could not control his own undead creatures …… Klein nodded his head gently, signaling that he remembered this matter He signaled that he had remembered the incident.

Immediately after, a rotting corpse in several places climbed up, holding an azure blue cufflinks in front of Klein.

This was his lost Fishman’s Cuff Nail!

Although it is of little use to me now, it has finally returned …… In an inexplicable sigh, Klein reached out and retrieved the item that belonged to him.

Then he saw Mr. Aztec walking back towards him, probing his hand and grabbing his shoulder.

He hastily reached out and grabbed the shoulders of each of the two secret puppets, Enzo and Ludwell.

All the colors then became intense, stark but overlapping, and Klein, who had entered the spirit world, instinctively asked:

  ”Mr. Aztec, where to now?”

”The Berserk Sea.” Azik replied calmly.

  He paused and added:

  ”Give me that copper whistle.”

”…… Okay.” Klein had the secret puppet Enzo take out the iron cigarette case and remove the ancient copper whistle inside.

Azuk reached out to take it while saying in a low voice:

”My intuition tells me that this ring left behind by the Grim Reaper plus the copper whistle, and I, should be able to find the place where the Grim Reaper fell in the first place in the Sea of Rage.”

  Klein subconsciously spoke up:

”My dreams tell me that it’s dangerous there.

”Maybe we should go to those members of the Spirit Order who are obsessed with the Artificial Death program first, and get more detailed information from them before we make a decision.”

Azik said after a few seconds of silence:

”There are voices there calling me.”

Klein turned his head sideways to look at Mr. Aztec, only to see the man with soft features and a bronzed complexion and vicissitudes of the eyes, his contours tightly stretched and the corners of his mouth without the slightest extra curve.

One by one the blocks of color flew by, and Azik led Klein swiftly into the region of the raging sea where the pitch-black storm swept the spectral lightning across the landscape.

At this very moment, the dark and gloomy square ring and the delicate and ancient brass-colored whistle simultaneously flashed with a faint light, illuminating Aztec’s face.

The “Death Consul” who survived the Fourth Age closed his eyes and quietly listened to the cries from an unknown source, and then he clenched his right hand violently.

All the scenes of the nearby spiritual world collapsed inward, turning into a dark vortex that slowly rotated with no visible edges.

The vortex swelled up and swallowed Aztec, Klein, and the two secret puppets.

Klein felt a sudden and intense dizziness, and nearly vomited on the spot.

It took an unknown amount of time before he slowed down and realized that he was inside a dark, cold mausoleum, surrounded by open coffins, within which sprawled a rotting dead with white feathers on their backs.

Although he warned Mr. Aztec, he still came here …… Klein was stunned for a second, and an uncontrollable sense of helplessness steeply surged in his heart.

He looked sideways to the side, only to see Azik standing nearby, gazing into the depths of the mausoleum that the layers of steps led to.

There was a thick black aura filling the area, a haze that flowed slowly.

”What’s hiding there is probably the man-made Grim Reaper ……,” Klein couldn’t help but add another reminder.

The lines of Aztec’s face were no longer so tight, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly as he said:

”My previous slumber brought back more memories, I saw myself sitting on the skull throne, I saw the extraordinary and ordinary people who fell dead in front of the throne, they did nothing wrong, they just died suddenly like that, and then one by one, they rose up and turned into pale undead creatures, undead creatures who gave their allegiance to me.

”And I just watched, coldly, without a single flicker of emotion, as I let such a catastrophe spread across the countryside and into the cities.

”It didn’t make me feel like myself, and yet, it was clear to me that this might be my true self.”

Quaternary Byron Empire that “death consul”? …… Klein’s mouth opened and closed, and then pursed tightly.

Azuk raised his hand and rubbed the corner of his forehead, his tone calm and undulating as he continued:

”I feel like I’m heading back in that direction.”
