Chapter 186 – Threats
“I know, I know, Hard Gold Group is the same company that Kyoko Fukada endorses, right!” The plate-faced girl suddenly intended to show her lively side and smiled.
“That’s right.” Takahashi Kazuya responded nonchalantly and said.
“Are you two also ministers of the Hard Gold Group?” The plate-faced girl asked tentatively.
“I am, he isn’t.” Kazuya Takahashi pointed first to himself and then to Masayoshi Kishimoto beside him and said.
“Then could you also tell me a separate story about how you became a minister?” The plate-faced girl’s heart rejoiced, and she immediately made her choice saying.
“Let’s go find a place to talk as well!” Takahashi Kazuya didn’t look at each other, but he also understood that it was time for the three of them to separate their activities.
After they left, only Masayoshi Kishimoto and Akane Suzuki were left. She hadn’t expected to be able to meet him in a place like this, and inevitably had a bit of an awkward color on her face.
“My friends are just too discerning, choosing the minister but giving up on the chairman.” Suzuki Akane suddenly cried and laughed.
“If you didn’t know me, what choice would you have made?” Masayoshi Kishimoto asked casually.
“I would have gone for one of those leaving two as well. They’re dressed in designer labels, while you’re wearing Uniqlo.” Suzuki Akane said honestly.
“Because I’m a name brand in person, I don’t have to wear a name brand.” Masayoshi Kishimoto responded conceitedly.
“How so? The men who are able to come here may not all be young and rich, but the probability is much higher than other places such as bars.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that there will be some abusive people in here.” Suzuki Akane was well aware that some of the men who were able to participate were both organizers trying to make up the numbers and imposters.
There was also no shortage of wealthy men who sought out their regular salaryman friends as companions. It had to be both the top 10% of the pyramid and young and attractive, so how could there be more men like that?
“You’re here for the high rollers too?” Justice Kishimoto asked bluntly.
“To tell you the big truth, you’re the one man who gave me the biggest hurt.” Suzuki Akane didn’t answer positively, but digressed with feeling.
Masayoshi Kishimoto was instantly puzzled, “I haven’t cheated you of your money, nor of your feelings, and even less of your body, so how did I become the man who did you the most harm?”
“Those three days of New Year’s Concert made me deeply realize the truth that being famous also costs money. Fame and profit, fame and profit, if you don’t give others profit, then on what basis can others give you fame?” Suzuki Akane had a word to say.
“So ……,” Masayoshi Kishimoto said as he purposely dragged out his voice without putting the answer straight.
“That’s right. I’m here to find the kind of gold master who might be willing to spend money to make me famous.” Suzuki Akane didn’t feel any need to hide anything, and said.
How could Masayoshi Kishimoto not realize that such an occasion was a deal in the name of friendship? Or rather, in the name of love, but not with the purpose of marriage, direct and open rascality.
“Do you think I’m mercenary and gold-digging for a woman?” Suzuki Akane said in a salty manner.
“No, I think you are very real at the present time. I believe that you should also know that high rewards inevitably come with high risks.” Masayoshi Kishimoto calmly said.
“There’s no way around it. Who made me fail to cast a good fortune when I was reincarnated?” Suzuki Akane complained to herself.
“Your life is already pretty good.” Masayoshi Kishimoto felt that she was beginning to moan about nothing. I’m afraid that a truly pitiful person was one she hadn’t seen before.
Far from it, even Sakai Rie was not as good as the family circumstances she came from. It was only that Suzuki Akane had chosen a path that was seven parts fate and three parts hard work.
It wasn’t like this path was beyond his father’s control. If she had simply sought a music-related job, it would have been within Professor Suzuki’s reach.
“Definitely not as fortunate as Rie Sakai. I’m single and have neither a boyfriend nor a fianc茅 by marriage. If I had known that my fianc茅 came to an occasion like this behind my back, I would have been heartbroken to death.” Suzuki Akane was silent for a while before opening her sandalwood mouth and said with a seeming smile.
“In addition to long hair, a woman’s biggest fault is her long tongue. Is your words considered to be blackmailing me?” Masayoshi Kishimoto heard the words in her words and laughed a little and said.
“No, just trying to make a deal with you?” Suzuki Akane said in a very revealing manner.
“Sorry about that. I don’t make deals with sluts.” Masayoshi Kishimoto said bluntly.
“You ……” Suzuki Akane’s right index finger was pointing at him, her eyebrows furrowed about to lash out.
“I what I. You’d better go outside and ask around, what was my background in the past? If you say something you shouldn’t, I can’t guarantee that your tongue will not be cut out?
Or your artistic hands will be ruined? Or, will this decent looking face of yours be disfigured?” Justice Kishimoto interrupted without waiting for her to continue.
“Are you threatening me?” Suzuki Akane stiffened her neck.
“There’s no such thing, you’re thinking too much. If you have persecution paranoia, you should go to the hospital and get a good look at the disease from a professional physician.
If you have a disease, you have to be cured, you can’t delay, and then miss the best treatment period is not good. One more reminder, don’t forget that you’re the one threatening me.” Justice Kishimoto sneered back.
“I could go to court and sue you.” Suzuki Akane lowered her hand and huffed.
“Feel free. You should know the saying, poor doesn’t fight rich. Then again, even if you told Rie Sakai about tonight’s events with added flavor, what’s going to happen?
If she really believed you, she’d be too simple-minded! She doesn’t deserve to exist as my Masayoshi Kishimoto’s fianc茅e. Besides, the two of you only know each other, you don’t have any friendship.
Your words have no weight or influence at all. Even you know how to weigh the pros and cons, doesn’t she know which is more important?” Masayoshi Kishimoto said in a cloudy manner.
Suzuki Akane was suddenly like an eggplant struck by frost, completely and utterly wilted. She became convinced that her words to the law were not simply words.
If she had been able to persuade Rie Sakai with her own words, then what the hell? Who could possibly be so foolish as to give up real benefits for the sake of a few words from someone else with no real proof?
She was blindly confident that she would be able to gain a little advantage from Masayoshi Kishimoto, but she didn’t expect that things would turn out to be so bad that she would be completely embarrassed and humiliated.
