Chapter 282: Morality (Revised)
As soon as the door opened, Inoue Kazuhiko and Yulia walked back and forth into the luxurious private room where Kishimoto Masayoshi and Prof. Yamazaki were.
Prof. Yamazaki was speechless at the sight of Yulia. The last little bit of his bargaining thoughts had completely vanished, after all, the other party had brought the person to himself.
Instead, Masayoshi Kishimoto suddenly stood up and said to Kazuhiko Inoue, ”The two of us shouldn’t be a light bulb here to hinder others from reuniting. I’m sure the two of you have quite a bit to say to each other.”
“Fair enough. We’ll just go and have a drink in that one private room next to us.” Inoue Kazuhiko said with a meaningful smile.
Shortly after the words fell, he and Masayoshi Kishimoto were walking out one after the other. After he exited this private room, he didn’t forget to close the fan door for them.
Yulia sat down on her knees directly next to Prof. Yamazaki, and while picking up a small wine jug from the table, she poured wine into the empty glass in front of him and said, “If you don’t want to get yourself into trouble, just do what they say. You, a university professor, will never be able to compete with people like them, whose backgrounds and relationships are extremely complicated.”
“It’s not because of you that I’ve fallen to this point. You bitch.” Prof. Yamazaki indignantly vented all his anger and said.
Yulia didn’t get angry, instead she laughed and said, “I admit that I’m a bitch. Could it be that you’re just a good thing? My Professor Yamazaki.”
Professor Yamazaki saw that things had come to this, and there seemed to be no other way. It wasn’t that he hadn’t thought about asking Maki Iwasaki for help. The problem was how to go about asking for it himself? He didn’t want this scandalous incident of his to get more and more people to know about it.
Professor Yamazaki was so depressed in his heart that he picked up the wine glass on the table and drank it all in one tilt of his head. He put the empty glass in his hand back on the table with a loud “pop”.
Yulia was still holding a small wine pot in her hand and poured wine for him, saying: “I know you hate me. However, you have to know that flies don’t bite seamless eggs.
If you do what they say, it will do you no harm, but also good. If you resolutely refuse to do it, they are the ones who may do anything.”
“Don’t you dare try to scare me.” Prof. Yamazaki stalked off.
Yulia had long ago eaten him up. In her mind, Professor Yamazaki was a colorful old man. He looked imposing and rather backbone-like on the surface, while in reality, he was an unapologetic old lecher, softie and goon.
He himself had lied about being a girl in college at first, but only for the thought of being able to catch a gold master who could support her. By chance, she had unexpectedly caught him.
Meanwhile, Masayoshi Kishimoto and Kazuhiko Inoue in the next private room were sitting cross-legged facing each other. Masayoshi Kishimoto said with a sense of purpose, “If you don’t let someone watch that one woman, aren’t you afraid that she’ll run away?”
“Run? Would she dare to run? Can she run away? Before you brought her here, you taught her a lesson, and let her see with her own eyes what happens to a rightful owner who is caught running away from a debt?” Kazuhiko Inoue said nonchalantly.
Masayoshi Kishimoto understood that he had used a tactic called making an example of Yulia to deter her, so that she would know clearly in her heart that being caught running away would make her life worse than death.
“In fact, if it is not you personally entrusted me to do this one thing, there is no need to give Yulia more to make such a means. The purpose is to make her pay attention, and not to miss your big event.
This woman not only owes a large amount of gambling debt, but also keep a soft eating white boy. Even if you tell her to run away, she may not.” Kazuhiko Inoue laughed.
“The Roppongi Old Town Renovation Plan, something I talked about at the top of the Tokyo Pachinko Conference. The most important thing to look up to is your connections and relationships, and the funds are secondary. This time, you have contributed, I will naturally remember that.” Justice Kishimoto calmly said.
“It’s not the first time we’ve worked together. For you to say something like that, that would be really out of the ordinary.” Inoue Kazuhiko said in a serious manner.
Masayoshi Kishimoto was relieved was smiled a little and said, “Let’s just sit here and wait for Yulia’s good news!”
“I always have a worry, what if that professor commits suicide?” Inoue Kazuhiko didn’t understand the intellectuals, mistakenly believing that they were, if not all of them, puritanical, they were quite protective of their reputations.
“You worry too much. Think about it, if Prof. Yamazaki really had the courage to commit suicide, he would have gotten up and whisked himself away a long time ago. Nowadays, it’s not unlikely that the old man and the young man next door have been groping and messing around together again.
Besides, I’m not blackmailing him, I’m just telling him to recognize the current situation. It was a deal from start to finish. I didn’t give him any less than what my competitors could promise him.
Not only that, but he was also able to take care of Yulia for him as an additional trouble that was causing him a lot of headaches.” Justice Kishimoto said with reason.
“If a man wants to keep from having his soft underbelly grabbed, then he has to take care of his bottom.” Kazuhiko Inoue said with a laugh out loud.
“Have you managed? No well! People who are as good as they look tend to be good for nothing. Don’t be a moralistic person.
To be one thing on stage and another thing off stage is naturally the biggest flaw. Prof. Yamazaki is a hypocrite.
If a man like him just agrees to do something but doesn’t put his heart and soul into it, I have another trick for him. I have another trick to use against him.” Masayoshi Kishimoto spoke eloquently.
“I know, intimidation huh!” Kazuhiko Inoue snapped.
“I’m not a yakuza, I’m not that mean. Even if he’s an intellectual with a small amount of guts, he’s not capable of doing such illegal things as you said.
I would just kindly remind him not to forget what he personally promised. This is for example, sending a few intimate bed photos between him and Yulia to its hands.
Then again, even if I took the old city remodeling plan for Roppongi, I wouldn’t cut corners. Our Hard Gold Construction, a subsidiary of the Hard Gold Group, however, is fully technically capable of getting the project done.
Therefore, with me taking the lead and you guys following me, that’s no need at all to worry about being held jointly and severally liable for tofu-dreg construction afterward.” Masayoshi Kishimoto said without haste.
“You’ll be making a lot less money if you do this.” Kazuhiko Inoue said seriously.
“As long as you don’t lose money, it’s good to make money. The principle I follow is to make a small amount of money, not a one-shot deal. All along, I’ve been doing legitimate business.” Masayoshi Kishimoto did not speak out of turn.
Kazuhiko Inoue was completely convinced that he wasn’t telling lies to deceive himself. He had thrown money down in the past, and not only had he made money on all of them, but it had been clean money. This time, it would be no different.
